When I was a kid I used to buff myself a lot too.
My tactic as an 8 yr old was mass frost wryms and losing. Didn’t really know you could multiplayer on B-net besides lan back then. Always played custom maps like X-hero siege or hero footies

Raider laming seems like the best choice against the elf's hero choice
That would solve several problems -- get money from Pillage, Ensnare and kill Dryads and Faerie Dragons. Mix it up with some continued Grunt production to be able to fight Bears and to be able to get Ensnare-surrounds.
This Epic battle showing Grubby’s skill, even enemy expanded 3 base but Grubby was still defend and he try his best.
Seems to me that for the momentum-based summoners Firelord and Dark Ranger, doing a bit of creeping before dealing with a Burrow/Tower rush, while risky, could have the upside of getting the number of summons up. Of course, it would be really easy to mess up and delay your response enough to let the Burrows/Towers become enough stronger that it more than makes up for the additional number of summons.
And then not surprising that a caster-heavy army would struggle with a Dryad-heavy army.
I'd love for there to be a game where Grubby is totally dominated and outplayed with no hope at all. He gets all pissed and leaves without saying gg, complains about stuff being imbalanced, and then during a five-second silence someone subscribes and you hear "everyone is laughing, everyone is happy!"
Grubby I don’t understand what the turning point in this game was from owning a lot of wisps and archers in his base and 5 minutes later being like „i don’t Think we can win this anymore“. Could you explain? Love the content
Grubby wasted lots of time trying to kill wisps and gained like almost zero exp from doing so.
His opponent completely ignored it and simply creeped and actually gained significant exp advantage.
At some point Firelord was already level 3, while grubby's farseer was still level 1.
At that point the game is basically already decided.
Firelord gained levels and items, and grubby just killed some useless wisps for no exp.
I noticed he takes harassment too far at times neglecting other things. I am not a pro and grubby would destroy me. It’s just my observation.
Would making moon well reju being a heal over time make it more balanced? So at least they can't relly on it while in base fighting?

...There's no way you're going with "Elf is imba" after Grubby goes mass casters and shockwave into magic immune units. The fact that the game lasted this long with how fucking stupidly Grubby played is more indicative of Orc being OP than anything else.

@@yGKeKe except dryads dealing little to no damage. The only reason he lost is because no gold income. He killed a lot of bears, lost little units himself but in the end without expo doesn't matter.
So much of that army was wipeable at 24:00....
that was definitely grubby's last opportunity to try and win, he had no more gold, while the enemy had 2 active mines.
And his army was full health and half mana, against a weakened/desperate army, with empty moonwells.
Great game grubby. Even as a Human player I sympathized
When did the new expo creep camp with the Rock Golem @ 9:30 get introduced? I like it!
Is this just a for fun build? That build seems awful no? Gives the opponent 100% map control, can creep everything no contest, lets him have expo without contest. Keeps expo all game etc. Since orc has zero pressure.
Don't worry Grubby i'm doing this ,,quests´´ challenges more than 5 times. :D Now im trying to farm 15 000 woods and after win that a challenge :D Now im on 15 try :D

at 21:22 i see some units not taking damage from shockwave, is that a feature, a bug or lag?
If you are thinking about the Dryads, then they are spell immune, and are immune to negative spells. Also the faerie dragon is flying, and does not suffer damage from shockwave.
@@eirikmhammerstad1077 I think they are immune to all spells, you can't buff them either. Roar does not work on them.
@@lumek4513 Not quite all -- you can still put healing spells (including Rejuvenate) on them. And of course, Ultimates still work on them.

I guess you can say that only healing works... and ultimates but that's obsolete because they work on EVERYTHING
@@lumek4513You can also put a healing buff on a Dryad (usually Rejuvenate) or a Breaker (usually Scroll of Regeneration). Although strangely it doesn't seem to be possible for Breakers to steal Rejuvenate onto themselves, even though you can manually cast it on them.
How did he end up losing this :D I guess kiting vs dryads and relying on chain/wave wasnt as effective as 3 expos :D

Grubby, with all due respect man, even though you are a legend among legends and my favorite player ever, adter almost 2 years without playing any serious WC3, your skills have deterioated to the point where you cannot win by trying to troll/cheese opponents that are 2,300 MMR like JaM. That burrow rush at beggining was stupid, and you know it. That first attempt at expo with tuny was also poor decision making. You had just won a battle and took 3 bears, you should have used the gold to mass and take out his expo, and THEN expoed when you had even bigger lead. Expoing then was a big mistake because even thougfh he had lost 3 bears and several dryads he still had expo so he would quickly replace his losses. When Happy and also Moon are 1 base Vs 2 bases and they win a decisive battle, they quickly mass and take the opponent's expo. Who am I to teach a WCG Champion how to play WC3? Nobody. But as a top 1-3% player, I can tell a mistake when I see one.
Why no raider and kodo this time?
That's what happens when you waste time playing toxic games like League you loose shape .

You could have won that game if youd had used stasis trap "defensly" meaning, when you fight to leave a safe passage with traps for leaving, so the opponent gets stunned everytime chasing you ....

you know how NE is OP because they get free healing as in moon wells?
yeah orc has that too, and better. it's called master rank witch doctor + healing ward. Why get an easily counterable uber spell or gimicky easily counterable revive when you can get INIFINITE VALUE as orc? You should ALWAYS work towards master WD + tauren + support/dps unit as orc, instead of trying to brute force as T2
I dont get why "pro players" are so stuck with the idea they have to play aggressive and bang at the unbreakable wall that is the meta with mass raider/wind riders and balance whine.
Also i rarely see people use siege unit to kill moonwell. And you also force them to get out of good position to kill your siege unit

You know healing ward only heals 2% per second?
So it takes a long time to heal up your units, and WD is practically useless in battles, so you don't get a lot of values for massing WD. When you get to master WD, I don't believe any decent player is gonna give you so much time to heal up at your own pace, especially not when you're talking about "pro players".
The mass raider + spirit walkers is meta for a reason.
U need to get to T3 to get witch doctors to use healing skill,lets not forget they need 2 upgrades + mana to plant traps and healings..so you need a couple of em to utilize decently and at the end they die fast and dont deal dmg.its cheaper to build other units like in T2 and get heal scroll..more effective and most likely cheaper since all games end fast,so you end up loosing like 1-1.5k gold approx on healing scrolls and they heal all units around you instantly for the amount,while wards regenerate health and can be destroyed with 1-2 shoots...
Night elf are quite strong with moon wells and even bears has very good healing spell which quite fast regenerate hp.
Elf isn't even OP. Healing salves are better than moonwells and elf has to relies on tavern heroes to even play the game most of the time.
People just refuse to adapt and don't want to admit that elf players are generally outplaying them.
