So, I turn to my own imagination, and I wonder, What did you imagine yourself to be today? Broke? Unemployed? Let out? What did you do this day in the Potter’s house? for the Potter is your own wonderful human imagination. Now, this day, what was the concept you held of yourself? It’s entirely up to me, for there’s no one to whom I can turn. I have to turn to my Self. Well, that is the Potter! And that is the only Jehovah; that’s the only Lord, the only Jesus."

As long as I can remember, I've instinctively known there was more to the words of the Bible than what very well-meaning clergymen and those calling themselves "men and women" of God have been teaching. The way Christianity is (and has been) taught is about control - not about knowledge of ourselves, our connection to the Divine within us, as us, because knowing God and I are one, I AM conscientiousness is freedom!! I am so appreciative to have Neville's teachings and the teachings of Dr. Joseph Murphy, Catherine Ponder, Emmett Fox and so many others whose teachings have been preserved and are available to us. Thank you for posting these videos!
Yes, Jesus RE-presented ancient knowledge of Self. His life was the personification of our Higher Self speaking. The Last Supper was the last time in his story/his demonstration of how to think and live... that he was going to "sup" with us/commune with us/seal his covenant with us that we are one with our higher mind forever. Note: It was held in the Upper Room = Your Upper Mind. The Higher Mind of God. :) Metaphysics is sacrilege to Traditional Christianity where powerful men perverted this knowledge, and yes, sought control, and shaped us into beggars ...forever begging Jesus for help, when we are in fact entirely God's own eternal powerful substance, and designed to aid ourselves! Shame. It exploits the fact that most men and women remain for life like children and are hormonally submissive, preferring an Entity govern their lives, rather than grow up and command their own lives. When the Apostles were afraid in the boat in the storm and woke Jesus.. Jesus went to the head of the boat and commanded the wind and the sea to be calm. He then told them "what little faith you have." He didn't mean little faith in him. He meant in themselves ! He was saying, YOU! go to the head of the boat of your life. You be the Captain of Your Life, empowered knowing who you are; God's spirit. You command control over "the storms" that rise in your life. Next time don't wake me ! Don't come running to me, begging for help. But The Religious Establishment's teachings made all Christians into beggars for 2000 years now. Jesus was an evolved Spirit come to perform a demonstration. But people forever prefer a Deity to a Demonstration. Being insecure and immature, we are afraid of being powerful. We don't want to take adult responsibility for our lives. We want to be rescued or saved. It's quick and easier. And that's ok...'cos that's our nature. But it's cruel to use that against us, and also withhold our true identity to makes us slaves... deliberately keeping us firmly asleep.

I've known these principles my whole life, and did not know I knew them.. I've applied them over and over again, without fully believing that they were actually doing anything. So many times I doubted God within.. Never again! I AM FREE!
No Lies , if you are a Christian, the day when you walk out of the church and feel no fear of hell, the day when you realize, the Bible is talking about your relationship between yourself and the God within, the day when you realize it's a lie to call yourself a sinner , that day you will taste how it feel to be free.

I've had a deep respect for scripture and a Love for God the Father and My Lord Jesus Christ. I never knew how to function within my relationship with "them" however. They were always external to me. How to use my sacred imagination for benefit and enhancement to myself and others was a remote concept. That I can go within and rearrange, reorder, discard, take off the old, love embrace and enhance the new--and how to do that and know that I must do that to live in Him freely is incredible. Thank you for reading this Josiah.
Thanks for the reading, Josiah. Not one of the most coherent Goddard lectures. His theology and the practical application seem rather convoluted. Still, gems are strewn throughout, but you have to wade through the lecture to find them, and this is confusing and tedious. I like the title, but it's misleading because it only appears at the end, rather than a clear theme throughout.

After discovering the teachings of Neville (seek and ye shall find) I'm beginning to feel that the traditional church as we know it, is increasingly irrelevant.

@Douglas Wayne take another look, it may have come to you in several ways but you didn't recognize it because your image or idea of it has changed over the years? As we mature in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, that which we ordered a week, a month, a year ago for example, may change, so when that order comes, we reject it/don't see it because we have "grown" from it.
Nothing wrong with reworking/remolding the clay. Don't doubt your creative abilities.
I know the Bible very well, whenever I listen to NG I find myself completing sentences ahead of time.
His work is very good, and I agree with, but even though I know the truth therof I still find it funny.
That is why he, and the Bible say this stuff so much, 'god' is always trying to go back to sleep because it enjoys the dream.

If I were the kid of the example I'd never stop asking for the minibike, but if I want it I find a way and a place where I can use it! I don't think it's fine that you renounce to get what you want only because someone else that is an adult convinces you that you don't need something that you like to have... How do you wait without taking action ?!
That to me is Neville gravest pitfall in his philosophy; he puts *almost no emphasis* on personal action, although his theological interpretations of scripture are inspiring.
I suggest you listen carefully to Wallace D. Wattles "Science of Getting Rich" here on YT and especially pay close attention to his chapters "Acting in a certain way" and "Efficient Action" where you'll appreciate how he gives action its full weight. In this sense Wallace's method of getting what you want is, to me, simply superior to Neville's and more comprehensive.
He's more pragmatic and way less esoterical than Neville, and clearly states that if you only imagine what you want but pay no attention to personal action, you're only a dreamer.
So you're right: you cannot just sit down and wait for it.

Love Neville but question: I’ve never seen him explain where he got the idea that potter = imagination. Does anyone know where he’s getting that from? Because he says he found out but I haven’t been able to figure out from where..🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Neville said that our imagination is God. Is this to say that our imagination is alive? Our imagination is a separate living entity? He seems to have personified imagination, which, in our dialect, is defined as the act or power of forming a mental image of something not present to the senses. Is God then, a power incapable of individual thought?
