A bright side is that Penance isn't limited so you can get her at some other point in the future.
I had a similar experience, saved up like 50k orundum and a couple dozen tickets, plus all they gave us during the event, ended up getting 2 Penances and FOUR non-rate-up spooks, in the end I was on like 289/300 for the pity shop and ended up forking over £15 to buy the remaining rolls to get Texas
If the banner had lasted as long as the event I'd have had her, but the thing I hate the most and the game's worst feature is their refusal to do rotations or any single rate-ups, It's agony having to rely on the slim chance of getting a 6*, then having to hope it's a rate-up, and THEN having to rely on a brutal 50/50 each time when you only want one of them
My 50/50 luck on these anniversary banners has always been abysmal.
Only time I scored was during Stultifera navis.
Whether I was trying to get the limited or the other featured, I'd always not get them.
My worst one was W. She evaded me on debut and on rerun each with about 150ish free pulls.
Had to use 300 to guarantee her on Stultifera Navis. And that's just after I got a FIA a few rolls before 300.
Oof that sucks
Guess I was pretty lucky. Managed to get my pot 6 Texas and one Penance with only ~390 rolls in total. Good luck on the banner you want
@@mlhx9181 Honestly the only 50/50 luck you should ever have to deal with is a possible 50/50 (though that's still too low if you ask me) between non rate-up, and rate-ups. Like I said it's nothing but a kick in the dick to get lucky enough to get a rate-up 6* and STILL be fucked over entirely and unavoidably for zero reason
It's not like they don't make enough money, considering FGO is often one of the biggest pulling gacha games and it seems to be working well enough for Genshin too. It's just baffling to me that Arknights does this considering in other regards its easily one of if not the best gacha games, but when I pointed out these same criticisms on facebook I got laugh reacted and replied to by a bunch of filipinos for some reason who missed the point entirely and acted like it was a skill issue. Gacha games always have the weirdest communities and standards
Dude I only have 9k corundum and 1 10roll tickets from certi shop and i got 3 Texas alter lol... although I don't get penance because I'm a specialist operator player...and i already have 12 E2 specialist operator...oh and I mostly play all 3 dollkepper because why not
i was lucky on this one, getting both rate ups within 60 rolls.
of course, i had a terrible last year, missing every limited operator on every banner, so this was a nice change of pace for me

The biggest pull experience I had. I used up all my currency and nabbed two penance and a Rosa. I was desperate for Tex alter so I went and played the entirety of Who is Real for extra OP.
Funny enough beating Who Is Real unlocked the raining background for the main menu.
The exact moment I set my background to rain… Texas appeared

I enjoyed this event except for the cleaners, nightmare inducing, I think my best solution for them was stalling with friends Hoshi, Cuora, or Eunectes and then using chen or Mlynar to nuke them. Planning on getting the rest of the medals on the rerun. Did well on the gacha though, so no worries there. Also I enjoy your videos, can't wait for future events.
I’m free to play and did 250+ pulls without a single on banner and didn’t even get to the pity. In the end I got two rosmontis, a kal’tsit, eyjafjalla and another ch’en pot.
