are they similar?? because when checking indiviually both got compared to red tobacco.. saying they remind red tobacco but weaker.. so I wondered if they are similar at all? i have exclusif.. so thinking of buying cassius..
I agree on the most part. Although you seemed to be a little harsh on Dark Door Intense. I have had it for a few months now. It has allowed me to stretch out the life of my bottle of the OG Dior. I feel that on the dry down, they are very similar. Also, (maybe it's me), but I don't get much projection with my OG DHi either. When it comes to the best iris fragrances for men. I think Valentino Uomo is intense, and the OG Prada Lhomme does a better job on my skin for projection and longevity. Regardless, a great video (like always) And I do agree with most of your ratings. I own Baroque Satin Oud, Perseus, Exclusif Tabac, Infini Musk and Kismet Angel from the house of Maison Alhambra, I give all of them a 10! They smell of good Qaulity and they all perform well on my skin, some even beastly.

Cassius is one of my Best Buys all time for PDM clones. Royal Bleu Orientica/ Layton and now Liquid Brun/Althair are the only ones I’d rank higher.
Nice rundown George! Sounds like fair scores to me. I only have about 50 fragrances and only have the Victorioso out of all of these featured. It really is a great option. Be safe all. 🙏
I own almost 20 Maison Alhambra's fragrances and my only "10" thinking of quality, price, performance and availability would be Kismet for men. I also have to say that after 8 months of maceration Dark Door Intense became way better as a scent and as performance than the first day. I can easily give it a 9.75/10.00.
I have dark door intense and also kyaan classic and dark lasts alot longer than kyaan classic. Let all maison alhambra have maceration time then the are great. I do that with all my clones I use them a bit then let them sit for a couple of months and they are great after that.
I have a pretty large MA collection, little bit different than yours. Exclusif Tabac is really good one. But, I have 2 others from Exclusif line and they are equally great. I am not fan of JPG products, So, I was not even bothered to go in that directions. There are a few that I will probably avoid using, like Galatea, which smells to me like an old style shoe shop, Blue the Chance; Men No.2; Zafiro (both) and Artist No 1 are really weak performers. The biggest disappointment was the Blue the chance. Compared to Armaf Marjan Silver, it is really, really weak. I had to edit my response. Even, I am not big fan of sweet fragrances, I have to say the MA Baroque Rouge Extrait EDP and Varsencia Rouge are 2 very good fragrances. And something aside, If you can get a hold of Territoire line of fragrances from YZY, you will be delighted how good and phenomenal performers they are - Territoire Wild, Desire, Platinum and Gold 79. Highly recommended and nobody is talking about those.
If I had to rate my collection of maison alhambra it would look something like : - 5 Jorge di profumo and di profondo / not a fan of the OG dna so i'm biased, but they feel way too synthetic to my nose 6 - Bitter peach / again too synthetic and a little bit too "childish" 7 - Lovely cherie - difficult to wear and far from a 1-1 clone but it's nice from time to time and good to layer with something else Neroli portofino - 9 for the smell 5 for the performance so 7 8 -Kismet angel - good angel's share clone, nice performance 9 - Dark door intense and tobacco vanille, 2 good clones for 2 of my 3 favorite dna of all time, performing very well of my skin and compliment getters Dark door sport is on the way, i like the OG scent but not to the point of spending 100€ on it so the clone will have to do and the way you speak about Victorioso victory makes me want to pull the trigger, everybody says that it smells like axe dark temptation and it was my go to when i was a 14yo high schooler so 😅
Can you make a clone battle for the best jean Paul Gautier le male le parfum clone. I love the original and i would like to know the best one so i won't have to spend so much money on the og.
Exclusif tabac is one of my favorite ones. That one and Mancera's red tobacco are similar in scent profile... I definitely enjoy both. Mancera for more power and beast, Alhambra when I want to project, but not as beastly. 👌 Excellent reviews, George.

It is a good fragrance with very good performance :)
