The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !

The way these companies are with these 'gaming' objects, I'm waiting for someone to come up with a gaming desk. I use an office chair for everything and it works perfectly fine. It's very adjustable, can support up to 350lbs, and is so comfortable I could probably sleep in it. Is it flashy? No. I don't care what a chair looks like. I care if it makes sitting comfortable.
Well, if you can have both, then why not? I find mine to be incredibly comfortable. I take naps in it reclined on occasion and its about as comfortable as you can get without buying a full recliner, which obviously does not work for a pc/office/game chair.
So glad you reviewed this chair. Been looking for something to replace an aging all cloth and foam office chair which allows me to keep a reclined position. My preference. In addition to a softer seat. Me @ 5'10" and only 150ish lbs this one looks to fit the bill perfectly.
Darn, that butt thing would probably bug me too. My big thing is that after ~2 months of use, the butt cushion gets flat in chairs I've used. (Keep in mind I weigh probably as little as Linus.) I hear DXRacer/GT Omega chairs don't do that, but I also don't want wires poking at me.

I would say it's safe to say when he got offered a free chair for review, he got offered all colors to pick from to review (probably around 1.5 - 2 months ago when most were in stock) anyways his last gaming chair was orange too, so why be surprised he went with orange again?

for people complaining about "gaming" products, i think nowadays products labelled as "gaming" has less to do with actual gaming and more to do with a certain level of style, ergonomics and build quality (the latter doesn't apply to razer unfortunately). gamers that are targeted at these products usually also enthusiasts that search for quality, performance and asthetics. "normal" products often lack in performance, and "good normal" products usually lack in aesthetics, and "pretty" products usually lack in both quality and performance.

+Patrik Gajdoš Yeah, Keyboard and *especially* the mouse is the hardest. I've a drawer full of keyboards and mice because of that. I'm now using a k70 Brown and a Strafe Blue. (Brown for gaming and blue for typing), and still have 2 mice on the mousepad. (m65 and g502). I guess i've some kind of OCD these 2 parts always have been the hardest to choose for me.
dito. keyboards and mice... it IS hard! that said, when it comes to keyboards, it has to something with mechanical switches - cherryMX. that said, I bought the razer blackwiddow a couple of years ago (when they still used cherry blue switches) and it's not great... blue IS fine for writing, but not for gaming and everything else about that razer keyboard really sucks! that said, the number of serious spills over that keyboard I had... it's made the keyboard worth every penny. :D
i have a question : i play pc gaming for prolonged times so will the dxr racer sink down and then just become like im sitting on pure metal because ive sat on it for too long
Thanks for the review. Wasn't sure if you guys would or not. Already picked one up. Definitely not ideal for 6 foot+ people but it works after modifying a few things. Added a 3rd party keyboard and mouse arm instead of the standard arm rests. And memory foam cushion to sit above the bottom wraps that don't allow your legs to open. The lean-back is the best feather and works well enough and the back is high enough even with the F series for a 6'1 180 lbs person. At least for me. Even after the added mods.

Personally, I prefer the Maxnomic over this; I'm really hoping to 'invest' quite a bit for my next butt cushion, and as I've somehow made an $80 office chair last fourteen years, I don't see an issue with shelling out a little bit more for something that can actually, quite literally, impact my life because of the amount of time I'll be using it.

just got my F series today. easy assembly, high quality materials, and the recline feature is worth the price alone. Feels amazing to recline and stretch or just doze off for 10-15 minutes. Dxracer even packaged a nice baseball hat for free which I would not hesitate to rock at a convention. The chair does an excellent job at keeping good posture while sitting which is essential to long term health. The one downside is that chair smells (at least the fabric one) out of the box like grease and the cushions will take time to break in.

I got the D series, what a fantastic chair. I love it. Absolutely fantastic. I leave the lumbar cushion in place which helps with the issue you had with feeling the wire at the end, helps my seating position. My only negative comment is that the arm rests don't swivel left and right and back and forward. From my old office chair to this one, the arm rests are in a different spot which having it slide back and forward would help. When I bought it as well I got a free foot rest and mousepad arm rest replacement which is a super cool bonus. I'm absolutely loving the foot rest, but I don't use the mousepad arm rest, but it's a huge value add. Free shipping too! Came very prompt for me. I'd highly recommend this.

I still have this chair. 6 years on. No problems structurally. Things that have occurred in 6 years: Pleather has worn around the buttocks area, on the pillow, and the lumbar support. The elastic has failed in both straps of the lumbar support too. The left arm pad is missing chunks from jeans pocket buttons catching when jumping into the chair. The piston has begun to fail and I will sometimes sink slowly. Half of the plastic foot rest things above the wheels have snapped off from repeated kicking when bored over the years. Other that this, the chair is still rock solid, and shows no signs of giving up

I made a chair with a Recaro race seat.... +Scuba Sausage clearly doesn't have the space to decorate. While I wouldn't add a game chair to my normal rooms, this works great for my computer room/ Chamber Of Awesome. Lastly being able to sit with good posture and have back support is gosh damn amazing.
People, streamers get these for free and they get money for using them, soooo basically, thats already a red flag. Get yourself a premium high quality $500 chair instead. It will last a lifetime (depends on material, but their warranty should last a life time anyways) if you take care of it. My chair costs $500 and I bought it about 6 years ago. I still own it and it looks gorgeous and makes me feel like a boss. I sit in it for HOURS and I didn't feel bad. But seriously people, go test out chairs instead of buying them online. TAKE YOUR DAMN TIME, ITS YOUR ASS.

The DXRacer has 3 wide elastic bands so that the cushion never wears down.

I guess you didn't check the price of the keyboard? The keyboard is $400-$350 if they sell all of them. At least there is a reason for the chair to be expensive, why is the keyboard that expensive?
there are people on here complaining about the word "gaming" i mean from what i have been seeing during my shopping for chairs not one OFFICE chair as provided me with 12 hour sit rating with support of up to 400 lbs for less the 469 dollars... i mean i don't need it, but im looking for longevity for a good price, and getting something that's way over usually mean longer lifespan
yeah im paying 469 for something with the words gaming in. but why would i spend 1000 for something with the word office in it i mean really Herman miller aeron or embodys fucking ridiculous for a mesh chair but i don't find mesh comfortable so i wouldn't spend 1000 on them anyways
just got my F series today. easy assembly, high quality materials, and the recline feature is worth the price alone. Feels amazing to recline and stretch or just doze off for 10-15 minutes. Dxracer even packaged a nice baseball hat for free which I would not hesitate to rock at a convention. The chair does an excellent job at keeping good posture while sitting which is essential to long term health. The one downside is that chair smells (at least the fabric one) out of the box like grease and the cushions will take time to break in.
Would love more chair reviews. Also compare the chairs to other chairs so i can judge if its worth the extra money.

I got the D series, what a fantastic chair. I love it. Absolutely fantastic. I leave the lumbar cushion in place which helps with the issue you had with feeling the wire at the end, helps my seating position.
My only negative comment is that the arm rests don't swivel left and right and back and forward. From my old office chair to this one, the arm rests are in a different spot which having it slide back and forward would help.
When I bought it as well I got a free foot rest and mousepad arm rest replacement which is a super cool bonus. I'm absolutely loving the foot rest, but I don't use the mousepad arm rest, but it's a huge value add. Free shipping too! Came very prompt for me. I'd highly recommend this.

I still have this chair. 6 years on. No problems structurally.
Things that have occurred in 6 years:
Pleather has worn around the buttocks area, on the pillow, and the lumbar support. The elastic has failed in both straps of the lumbar support too. The left arm pad is missing chunks from jeans pocket buttons catching when jumping into the chair. The piston has begun to fail and I will sometimes sink slowly. Half of the plastic foot rest things above the wheels have snapped off from repeated kicking when bored over the years.
Other that this, the chair is still rock solid, and shows no signs of giving up

I made a chair with a Recaro race seat.... +Scuba Sausage clearly doesn't have the space to decorate. While I wouldn't add a game chair to my normal rooms, this works great for my computer room/ Chamber Of Awesome. Lastly being able to sit with good posture and have back support is gosh damn amazing.
People, streamers get these for free and they get money for using them, soooo basically, thats already a red flag.
Get yourself a premium high quality $500 chair instead. It will last a lifetime (depends on material, but their warranty should last a life time anyways) if you take care of it.
My chair costs $500 and I bought it about 6 years ago. I still own it and it looks gorgeous and makes me feel like a boss. I sit in it for HOURS and I didn't feel bad. But seriously people, go test out chairs instead of buying them online. TAKE YOUR DAMN TIME, ITS YOUR ASS.

Everyone whining about the $350 price tag has clearly not tried finding an "actual office chair" that's anywhere near as comfortable as these. Want a chair that won't break or flatten within a month? AT LEAST $350.

Get the need for seat dominator. I'm six foot 2 and it's perfect. the lumbar lever thing is the best lumbar support solution I've seen aswell .
