I just purchased this saw and am so glad I saw your video. The book is really small print so Now I know how to use it thanks to your video. Can't wait to get started.
Glad it helped!

Great video! I bought one for a few DIY projects around the house. The instruction book was too small for me to read how to change blades, and I wanted to see how to do it. Your review showed me how to change blades AND use a lot more features on the saw that I didn't even know were there. Thanks!
tile cut - first make a slight cut on end side, then start cut on opposite side till the end side. No chip guaranteed
FYI adjust the depth of the blade so you only have about a quarter inch past the depth of cut for smoother and cleaner cut .
Just bought s tack life drill, never heard of them so wasn't expecting much.. but pleasantly surprised, very good quality drill
Nice! Not a bad option if the price is right. Vs name brand!
Thank you very much for this video, I love DIY projects and I want to start doing wood stuff, got this saw and when I first saw it it scared me but now that you showed me how to use it I feel more confident to try it. Thank you !!!👏🏻
Awesome!!!
Although this isn’t the same brand as my saw they are similar enough. This video was very helpful in helping me to understand the basic parts and operation of my saw. Of course I will complete reading the instruction booklet that came with it.
Thanks for your video I really appreciate it!
I have a couple of tacklife power tools and im always impressed with their build quality. Time will tell but they seem like very well made, sturdy tools.
Same! So far so good for me on all my tools from them! Getting heavy use now as I renovate my new house!
They're owned by Aukey, a quality manufacturer of USB products...
Great video! I just ordered one and found your video and you gave great insight on it. Thank you for going in depth on this. Just a heads up for anyone interested, the 5.8 amp model is on clearance for $33.00 on Walmart’s site!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Never thought I would see a circular saw that was also a precision tool. Reorienting the motor gives you a lot more clearance. That would be great for "in place" trimming of any kind of sheeting material.
Yes yes yes!
At 7:35 the big question for me with little saws like this is if they can cut a 2x4 at 45 degrees. If not, then any saw like this is greatly limited except for installing trim (and square cuts of 2x4).
Thanks for the feedback! It's greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to tell if I'm not going crooked halfway? I can't see if is going on a straight line
The laser line!
I got it today, let me see how this compact circular saw work?... you explained very well!
Awesome let me know how you like it !

Glad it was helpful! Thank you! Make sure to sub! -MB
where would one buy a replacement wood blade (4 3/4") for the tacklife mini circular saw ?
4.5" blades work just fine, just make sure it's 3/8" arbor (the hole in the blade) which is the CRITICAL aspect.
Thank you for your comment! If you need a replacement wood blade for your TACKLIFE mini circular saw, there are a few different options you can consider.
First, you may be able to purchase a replacement blade directly from TACKLIFE. You can check their website or reach out to their customer support team to see if they sell replacement blades for your specific saw model.
Another option is to check with a local hardware store or home improvement store. Many of these stores carry a variety of circular saw blades, including those designed for mini or compact saws like the TACKLIFE TCS115A. You can bring your saw with you to the store to ensure you find a blade that fits properly.
Finally, you can also check online retailers such as Amazon, eBay, or other tool-specific online retailers to find replacement blades. Be sure to double-check the size and specifications of the blade to ensure that it is compatible with your specific saw model.
Overall, finding a replacement blade for your TACKLIFE mini circular saw should be relatively straightforward, as there are several different options to choose from. cnl
Excellent review and demo! Thank you!
Very good presentation

Thank you for this video! Very helpful!

hi.Iron can be cut???
Friendly tip you should show you cutting wearing a mask . Cutting tile without one is a lung killer . I have this saw its awesome .
Woodworkers are 7 times more likely to contract emphysema in their lifetime. MASK UP.
4 reviews so far, and no one mentions the blade guard lock. I would assume the cover for the laser switch is to keep dust from fouling it over time.
Thanks for sharing!
CC is a good idea.
It would also help if they shipped with a vacuum adapter...
Yes!
I'm left handed. How would I push in that trigger release button.
Put your left hand over your right forearm and let it rest there. Notice that your first finger is opposite the thumb, so either will work to pull the trigger release with a tiny learning curve.
I'd put a laser pointer on my dog and now he is a laser guided canine! Woof woof!
Lol my dog loves to chase lasers!
What’s the price
@digitalDavid, do you know if there is a blade that fits this machine that I can buy for a 2 inch depth cut?
I don't know. You'd have to contact them directly!
Great Video It Helped me sooo much Thnkx
Glad to hear that the video was helpful! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions or comments. cnl
Thank you, very helpful video
Thanks for the excellent video guide. very helpful

Nice video. Is the laser light battery operated and if so, what time of batteries does it use? My light went out so I am curious
I really can't remember

I have had this saw for some months. I have not used it very much because it will get about halfway through my cut and bind up (while I'm running the plate against a fence for a straight cut). Upon inspection I found that the reason it is binding up appears to be because the blade is not squared up to the plate, and so while cutting along, the blade is on a different path than the plate. Is there any way to adjust this? I can't find an adjustment. It would be an awesome saw with a lot of features, but nit if I can't get it to cut a straight line. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
That's not good. I read a review of the Worx WX429L where the reviewer had the same problem, binding after 5 inches when using a fence, it was returned for another one which did the same thing.
Is there any place where you can make adjustments, like in this video for squaring a larger circular saw ua-cam.com/video/PKMgUSiSaj4/v-deo.html
hmmm I need to try this out on my end to see if mine has the same issue or if yours is just not to spec... I don't think their is anyway to adjust that but would be nice to have that feature in the next version!
With any saw like this, or even standard "tried and true" Skil Saw's there is no way to adjust the blade angle on any axis, x,y, or z. Your best bet is to try and return it in hopes that another one would be better, or look at how the blade shoe could be adjusted in or out a little at either end. Something like a small, thin washer inserted at a contact point could make a lot of difference.
The guide is probably bent.mine was. I bought a different guide at Lowe's and it works perfect now
do you have a suggestion on how not to chip the tile at the end of the cut?
Do a slight cut on end side. Then start cut on other end.
Thanks, great video!
Thanks! Glad ya liked it!

It is not possib to get in India?
Tacklife doesn't sell the 60 teeth wood and metal replacement blades though, where are you planning to get replacements?
Amazon, Menards, Home Depot... I'm not loyal to only using their branded blades in the saw... They are universal sizes!
@@DigitalDavid Have you tried other brand blades? One amazon review said that it's not universal
@@miabellasalonandmedicalspa2822 std. 3/8" arbor, any 4.5" blade... all over Amzn
Where can you purchase replacement blades?
Should work with blades you can get at Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes etc or you can contact them directly for replacements!
no captions... not sure what he is saying... is the product good or not so much? (no audio available on my end)
UA-cam now has auto captioning you can turn on.
Did you ever figure out how to turn on auto captions? Sorry you were having trouble understanding me! Any suggestions on how I can be more clear?

What is the type of replacement batteries for the laser?.
Unfortunately, the TACKLIFE TCS115A Compact Circular Saw does not have a replaceable battery for the laser. The laser is powered by the saw's main battery, which is a 20V lithium-ion battery that can be recharged.
While this means that the laser cannot be powered separately or replaced independently from the saw's main battery, the saw's battery does have a relatively long runtime, so users can expect to get a decent amount of use out of the laser before needing to recharge the battery.
Additionally, the saw's battery is interchangeable with other TACKLIFE tools that use the same 20V battery, so users who already have other TACKLIFE tools with this battery can easily swap batteries between tools as needed. cnl
Buen video. Saludos cordiales desde Medellín Colombia
Thanks!
Very good review.if you don't mind may I know where it was made in really want to buy one from amazon.new subscriber here.thank you.
Awesome! It's made in China and you can buy it on Amazon in the link in our video description!
Is there a way to remove the guide metal harness ?
I can't remember on this saw and I no longer have it!
I need one for cutting 1/4" stainless steel plate...
Patience & cutting lubricant will be your friend
Great job, man. Thank you.
Thanks Mark! Is there anything else in this video you wish we would have shown/talked about? We want to improve our future tool reviews going forward!
@@DigitalDavid I'm a complete newbie who had just bought this saw and it was perfect for me. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks again, David.

Are the wood blades carbide tipped?
Yes they are!

I'm so sorry, but not sure what pixie glass is
~B
Where do you purchase more blades?
Amazon. 3/8" arbor, 4.5" are fine, buy for purpose (metal, wood...)
Thanks, brianmi40!
~B
Too bad you didnt show if this machine can cut around corners...I need to cut a rectangle in sheet metal.
Hopefully you weren't asking if a circular saw can cut a curve...
No question is a dumb question!
~B
Any idea how to remove the blade?
Yes 03:47 in the video :)
Thanks a lot!
MRP. Rate kya hain cutter ki
Thanks for watching!
No information about tools weaight
heavy, probably heaviest of the mini circular saws, which is why they added the handle. but beefier for it: 5.8 amps, versus many saying the 4 amp alternatives are under powered. A girl would want to have both hands free to use it.
Yeah, it's kinda heavy!
~B
Does it have any laser
Yes it does!
One more thing I want to ask, are they providing any battery for laser, if yes what type of battery it's? Lr 44 battery or any other rechargeable battery? Can you please answer my query?
thanks so much for the walk through, their instructions are terrible
Glad it helped!
~B
What a wuss test !
lol What would ya have liked to see?

amazing how silently it cuts for my right ear
Nice! -MB
