- Definitely not my best video. I missed THE BEST part, so I’m sorry y’all! Me and dad hung treestands and checked cameras, got caught in the rain, and got STUCK. Here’s how we got out!

Been stuck
Many times, used chain,cable and poles and many other things, but never thought I'd using a knotted rope to get out. Thanks Jeff and Hannah, y'all taught me another way.

Ostrich, you make it sound like guys don't take their shirts off when they are working hard like this. Does that mean their dads failed? No. It means going shirtless is just what people do. She has a face that makes guys dream and a body that finishes those dreams. We all know she doesn't need to do it for views, and she does too. That face and personality is enough to get the perverts to click. Her parents did an amazing job raising and teaching her, regardless if she is in nothing but a bra and booty shorts.

I watch 4-wheeling/off road videos all the time where folks set up their $3000 worth of winches and snatch blocks and tree protectors and shackles and then sweat bullets for 45 minutes to get out of a situation like this.

Works as long as your line/tree is aligned with the wheel. Any angle and no winch action.
That said, very ingenious way out. Nicely done.
In southwest Louisiana we often don't have anywhere to tie off, miles of mud.
That's when a flip flop wench gets ya out.

Lots of people would. He could have also tied a 2 - 3 foot branch to the wheel and it would have done the same thing.

Believe it or not that is straight out of an old Army manual, along with a dozen or so other ideas. Found it after my Platoon Sgt and I got a trio of dump trucks stuck in a swamp and the 1sgt came and got us out then made us both read it and write a report on it to him in detail.lol. We were combat engineers and that made him double made. But that's some good information thanks for the memory and your story.

About 20 yrs ago I was winching out a friend and his hook broke and the line busted three of my teeth out and left a 4” scar on my cheek . Amazing folks you are ,keep up the great work . 👍🇺🇸

Years ago I did a stupid thing and decided to explore a dirt road going up a mountain in Colorado in early March. There was no snow where I started, but as I got higher the snow gradually got deeper and deeper and deeper... and the road was narrow and i couldn't turn around. Worse, it was extremely steep going up on my right side and also extremely steep on my left side, if i went off the road I would have rolled down that mountain for hundreds of feet. So of course I stayed to the right but the snow kept getting deeper and deeper. Finally i realized I had no choice but to back out for several miles or I was going to get stuck in the snow. It was going fine until both right tires hit a deep rut that was hidden by the snow and my Jeep's undercarriage was now sitting on the snow and all 4 tires were just spinning because no weight was on them. I had no cell signal at all, and it would have been about a 15-17 mile walk back to the main road. I had some skis with me, so I started using a ski to dig the snow out from under the Jeep, so as to get the weight back on the tires. After about an hour i was able to clear the snow underneath the Jeep and could move back and forth again, but not very far because the 2 right tires were still stuck in that deep rut. I had to get enough speed to jump out of the rut, but not so much speed that I couldn't stop afterwards and go rolling down the mountain. I finally succeeded on my 4th try, but man that was scary!

That was cool. I was a truck mechanic for 43 years but the hardest I have every worked is getting ready for dear season I have drug fifteen foot two man ladder stands over a mile through the woods I ninety plus temps to hunt deer I fill your pain.

That's a really neat rope trick! My dad made short pieces of chain that we would wrap around the tire through the rim holes. They worked well also.
