- Errol Musk, father of the billionaire mogul who founded SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk, joins Piers Morgan Uncensored with Jeremy Kyle to discuss his son's rise to become the richest man in the world and what it was like raising him.
Jeremy begins by asking Errol how he has 6 children who are all such high achievers and he replies "It's a work ethic we inherited from our parents and grandparents". Jeremy follows up by asking whether growing up with a billionaire father in Errol helped them to be even more successful and he replies "Of course it does".
After clearing up the recent reports that Errol has said he 'doesn't like' his own son Elon, Jeremy brings up that people often compare him to Iron-Man and asked Errol if he's more like a superhero or evil villain. Errol responds with "He is a superhero, of course. He is a very nice person and he will help anyone".

Completely agree, he seemed to make Errol LOL, but never gave him time to answer the question and with the satellite delay it seemed that Jeremy wanted just to state bullet points that he had written down. Reading between the lines, I feel they wanted to apply flattery in the hope that Errol would come on again when Piers is back.

As a South African I've always been super proud of Elon. I heard about his dad, never met him. Elon is different from his dad. Not in looks or the way he laughs, but in thinking and his brain capacity. Show me another kid reading everything they can get their hands on.

Strict parent? Elon Musk talks about the horrendous physical abuse he suffered from his father, and that he almost died by one of the beatings! This is a bad human being. I do not like Pierce Morgan's temporary replacement. He's obnoxious, and a bad interviewer.
If it happened. You saw this happen? Maybe it did. I’m not even convinced that Elon said what you claimed. You have the video? I doubt you even saw the video. Probably read an anti Errol article that said what they think Elon meant. Some parents especially like 40 to 50 to 60 to 70 years ago weren’t seen as being abusive because they were physical with discipline or over the harsh physically. I’m sure if we could see all the worst moments that we would think that’s physical abuse but things can be a lot more complicated than you just made them out to be. I’m just saying you have no idea. I don’t either, my dad I thought was an amazing dad and never abused me but he has a lot of things. He believed he said that he thought were so horrible to me and I don’t even know what decided about. I mean everybody does things I think are OK in the time and regrets them later. Again, if we could see every way, you’ve talk to a girlfriend or boyfriend or your parents and just had them go fleetly out of context or just heard what your exes had to say about you, I’m sure it does sound like you were verbally abusive. That’s pretty much 90% of everyone’s experiences lol.
