I’ve never seen this actor in an interview as himself before. I’ve seen him in other roles, usually got a specific vibe from him (mostly Breaking Bad, OUAT and Mando) but he is totally completely different from his characters. I’m relieved 😂😂
Gus is definitely one of the best villains ever. The fact that every time seeing him in the show the tension rises instantly just shows how successful the character is.

It's pretty rare to find an actor that *truly* understands the character's that they play. That's a reason why I think all of Giancarlo Esposito's characters are considered to be some of the best of the best.
One of the things I love about him as an actor is he loves the characters he plays and he just revels in his characters and I love his enthusiasm talking about them

I wonder if there would be a way to make it more flexible? It feels like the actor will have to fit them into the chart based on the order they're asked - which limits things. Maybe let them know the character line-up beforehand? Could be good

I've really only seen his more serious performances, but Giancarlo just brings this *presence* to his roles that has me hanging on each of his words every time. Bravo to a class-act actor!
I’ve never seen this actor in an interview as himself before. I’ve seen him in other roles, usually got a specific vibe from him (mostly Breaking Bad, OUAT and Mando) but he is totally completely different from his characters. I’m relieved 😂😂
He is such a great actor. It's really great hearing his opinion on the characters that he played
“I wanna take a picture of this chart… I think it’s ingenious.” I love him
What about the dentist from payday 2? I'm pretty sure he played him as well
@@acebrawler2000 MINOR? HE WAS THE MAIN ANTAGONIST WHO LED TO A WHOLE CAMPAIGN
Ace knows fucking nothing about payday lol
and also he did play The Dentist
@@acebrawler2000 any character giancarlito acts is great, just saying that the dentist was a large majority of the story of payday
@@acebrawler2000 so apparently fucking is a slur now. nice good to know thanks for telling me man
Gus is definitely one of the best villains ever. The fact that every time seeing him in the show the tension rises instantly just shows how successful the character is.
“I have feelings on corporations”. Damn Giancarlo i already loved you, that just brings you to le next level
I love that he really loves all his characters and would be able to defend any of their misdeeds if he needed to. Thats what makes him such a good actor.
This guy is such a good actor, i first saw him in Mandalorian than the Boys, nad i cannot picture him differently than corporate kind of aristocratic overlord. Hi is completely different in real life.
watch breaking bad...trust me
Yes trust them...
Yeah trust them and trust me PLEASE WATCH IT
It's pretty rare to find an actor that *truly* understands the character's that they play. That's a reason why I think all of Giancarlo Esposito's characters are considered to be some of the best of the best.
One of the things I love about him as an actor is he loves the characters he plays and he just revels in his characters and I love his enthusiasm talking about them
Every missile test we do:
"I'm gonna nuke America..."
"Hahahahaha I was acting"
*"Or was I?"*
yo Kim glad to see you un good shape man.
Your definitely acting just like how your country is said to be modern while living in the 50s

Now i understand why Anton Castillo is a sucess, i think Esposito didn't spend much time to master the rule of a tyrant, he already played it in starwars.
Looking forward to see many rules of you, big fan.
He has been around for decades but his talents are finally being properly appreciated. I had no idea that was him in do the right thing.
WOW! Buggin Out took me WAY back to my college years! This is such a good philosophical exercise! I enjoyed watching this video. Giancarlo has been one of my favorites actors for years. He's such a class act.
I love to see how enthusiastic he was to come in and talk about his characters because he's prepared his hour long analysis for each one
To think this guy went from starring in tv shows and a spike lee movie to playing some very memorable villains, wow what an evolution,Giancarlo is an amazing f'ing actor 👏 👏👏👏👏👏
I wonder if there would be a way to make it more flexible? It feels like the actor will have to fit them into the chart based on the order they're asked - which limits things.
Maybe let them know the character line-up beforehand? Could be good
Keith David and JK Simmons should chart their characters
Every time I see him talk about the villains he plays it throws me for a loop. He really gets into those characters heads and comes out knowing that THEY think they're doing the right thing
I want to see a compilation of the directors explaining D&D alignment rules to celebs. Just to see how long it took them to "get it"
Giancarlo is one of the nicest and most genuine actors out there I swear. He doesn't care what he acts in, he just wants to have fun doing it. Anton Castillo is also such a great character, they could easily make a movie of him!
Giancarlo is 100% deserve an oscar
Besides breaking bad, my favorite character of his was on Revolution. My God, I think he was possibly in every episode, and every facet of good and evil was displayed in his character. How come that didn’t make this list? He may be my favorite actor maybe ever. When I find out he’s in something I’m held captive. I loved the series
Revolution specifically because of him.
Honestly Giancarlos real personality seems more like an older version of buggin out more than it does any of his evil characters
this guy is such a good actor, i love a lot of his works from breaking bad to payday 2 to star wars. he’s able to play such an intimidating character by just his voice alone
FC6 being announced long ago REALLY put me on with Giancarlo Esposito and got me to finally watch and finish Breaking Bad last year 💯💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Have you seen Better Call Saul?
@@rikiishitoru8885 havent finished it yet im 4 episodes in (lovee the name btw)
I'm gonna start Breaking Bad today since I finished FC6 so my calendar is free until tomorrow with RE4VR
This video made me see a new side of him. Amazing person and great actor. Every show I see him I am amazed by his acting. I wish him a long healthy life so he can continue to bring us the quality acting we don't see anywhere else.
Do amazing people wish to confine others to an island to die?
his facial expression is awesome thats what make his villain act so damn powerful and scary. I loveeee it
The fact they didnt include his role in payday 2 is honestly quite surprising.
He killed it as the dentist.
Agreed. Not that Payday isn't popular, most fans of his other roles probably wouldn't even know of Payday. Funny thing is I got into Breaking Bad thanks to the Dentist.
Just saw him on an old episode of law and order yesterday. He played a defense attorney. No matter if he plays a good guy or a bad guy he's the smartest man in the room.
I really enjoyed him as Tom Neville in Revolution, too bad that show got cancelled :(
Yeah it was a great series especially with him in there
Yes! I was pretty surprised that didn't end up in a square, but I guess I just have to expand my horizons!
I love this guy so much that it's hard to hate his villains
It’s always so funny how the best villains are acted by the chillest people
God I’ve met so many people like him IRL at work and I love them all
they’re so much fun to chat with and meet, and just fun in general
need more people like that out in the world :,)
Never knew he was Buggin Out from DTRT. That was excellent work right there.
I’m kinda disappointed that they didn’t include the dentist from payday 2. He had some of the best contracts and an amazing story as well.
NOOOOOOO
Planning is one thing.
@@snekie I can't read this without doing it in his voice and I don't know how to stop that
@@snekie execution is another...
What a nice man, I sure hope he doesn’t summon dark magic powers and try to kill a career mastermind criminal
Omg, I forgot he was Buggin’ Out!!!! This man really is a legend. Throw some more roles at him! I wanna see him in everything!
I swear to god.. It will be a sad, sad, sad, SAD day when the day comes that such a famed, amazing person, and immensely talented actor like Giancarlo Esposito leaves us. Just the thought is already upsetting.
Was thinking the same
Great actor great villain I love the way he gets dressed up
Characters he plays 👏🏾 he is so underrated in Hollywood He deserved to be in more movies tbh
I love that he’s so different from all his serious and evil characters, like he’s a total nerd which awesome I’d like to meet him one day.
Bloody hell I love this human being. He is a phenomenal actor
When are we getting Giancarlo to play videogames?
He played the Dentist in payday 2
Even though he's played so many evil characters he's such a nice guy, i'd wanna be friends with him
i like how giancarlo is so charming and happy like and he plays vilians for a living
I love to see actors that don’t just play characters, but analyze, understand, and internalize their morality and actions and really put the why into question for their actions
Giancarlo is the only actor that i can say, being the unemotional villain is the best for him with a slight touch of manipulation.
real ones remember him as the dentist
How can they leave out esteban from fresh? One of his most underrated performances.
& Dean Big Brother almighty from School Daze
He’s definitely iconic. Every time he comes on screen, i could feel the aura he brings along
I haven't had the opportunity to watch all of Giancarlo's characters, but I can say he is an outstanding villain actor and incredibly charming man. I love his work and wish him all the best in his career (even though Castillo keeps sending these elite forces to hunt me over and over and destroying my cars with airstrikes).
He played so many different roles, this man can act anything
