Fantastic analysis of these kitchens! Incredibly helpful. Thank you!
You confront kitchen layouts/design all the time, so it’s interesting to see what parts of the kitchens strike you as notable.
There are lots of things I didn’t even get into. I could go on for hours on these spaces. I just don’t think people would want to listen to me for that long 😂
@@hsdesignstudio I would love to watch a longer vid! Maybe you should do a series; an extended episode for each kitchen!
@@adolfogonzalez3051 If only there was the time! I barely have the time apart from our client work for the content we do create.
In the last kitchen do know the name and brand of Quartz?
I like some things in each of these kitchens but I think putting an outlet between the drawers on an island is a bad idea. That's an accident waiting to happen. Cords and drawers don't mix.
My question is how often are you opening those drawers while using a small appliance?
@@hsdesignstudio That just depends on what I'm cooking, what else is going on when I'm cooking, how tired I am and how many of your videos I watch so I can avoid that problem before it ever happens.😊
Hahah good answer 😂 on a more serious note, my goal would be to organize the kitchen in a manner where those drawers likely aren’t crucial when using a mixmaster, a blender, or even a toaster. What I like about the outlet location is that it isn’t taking up internal cabinet space. In addition, it wasn’t an afterthought…which is probably the most important aspect.
That outlet between the drawers looks exactly like an afterthought to me.
Little ones, whether kids or grandkids could easily open one of the drawers and pull the appliance off the counter. You would constantly have to watch them. Kids will tend to open doors or drawers if for no other reason than because they are there.
