I feel so bad for Keith and the kids, being put through all this unnecessary grief. And Keith did littlerly everything right that you do in a situation like this. He was dedicated to this woman and she just disrespected that. Hopefully he and the kids will be able to be happy after this is all wrapped up, but I'm afraid that the shadow of this whole thing will follow them forever.
I googled Sherri while listening and apparently she went to high school with a woman who really was abducted while jogging, which may have given her the idea. They thought there may have even been a connection between the two because they were so similar.

You can take an over-the-top gruesome criminal case and spin it into a hilarious monologue without glamourizing the crime and the criminal(s.) So many crime channels are "decorated" like every day is Halloween. The more they try to be "spooky" the less they stand out from the herd. Power to you!

Sadly, sometimes it works. I just heard the sad story of Jessie lundford, she was kidnapped by her neighbor and the kidnapper put her in his closet, told her to be quiet, and then ran out the back door and hit on the porch while the cops talked to his family. They eventually caught him but they were not able to save her, he buried her alive. I guess the cops aren't always very thorough

I’m so glad something finally happened in this case. A lot of folks have been upset about it for 5 years now, and what Sherri did was detrimental to both innocent civilians and actual victims who survived horrific crimes.
Not to mention all the time and resources she wasted. What she put her family through. I deeply empathetic to mental problems and anyone who would stage such a thing has mental issues. But she just seems SO SELFISH and not remorseful I hope they give her as much time as possible. If she’d confessed earlier, it’d still be terrible, but I understand why a mentally ill person seeking attention would do it. But no attempt to make amends makes her horrible. I feel so bad for the husband.

It’s so very sad, but interesting if you look at it from the perspective of the ride being so new and the boy not feeling safe just before the ride started. I would love to hear what you have to say.
Poor boy. He never should have been allowed on that ride. I’m 5’11” and 180lbs and there have been rides over here in the UK that I’ve felt the harness being uncomfortable over my shoulders because I’m much taller than the average woman. I can’t imagine how uncomfortable/unsafe it must be to be a man taller and bigger than me, let alone a young man as tall and heavy as Tyre. So tragic and sad.
Bro wanna know something crazy my family was at Icon Park before that ride opened but they were testing it and my rich aunt paid A HUNDRED DOLLARS (!!!) for us to ride that drop ride before it opened…it was so scary we were all crying coming off the ride and my cousin even said “I feel like I just survived something”…and then a few months later boom someone dies. I find the ride accident pretty interesting. My guess is that the victim was either really skinny or had an unusual body type that, when positioned in a certain way, allowed him to slip out of the harness. I don’t think the workers messed up. I think it was a design flaw that didn’t take certain situations into consideration. I’m guessing that, after investigating it, they will say that the harness was ‘to blame.’ Furthermore, if I am correct, it meant that someone definitely was going to fall out sooner or later.

Hey Scott, great episode and I love your story telling. I called my percussionist husband over to see your new instrument and ask if he has one. He said "You're playing it wrong." He says you're supposed to rotate the cowbell looking thing 90 degrees so that the bits inside jump up and down and hit the sides. (It took some work to get my actual question answered. Eventually he told me it's called a Vibraslap and yes, he has one.)
It’s almost like a Munchausens case, but instead of a rota of long-term illnesses, she’s invented this crazy, traumatic situation for sympathy and attention. Her commitment to the “bit” - starving herself, beating herself up, the branding - it’s next level.

Hey Scott, great episode and I love your story telling. I called my percussionist husband over to see your new instrument and ask if he has one. He said "You're playing it wrong." He says you're supposed to rotate the cowbell looking thing 90 degrees so that the bits inside jump up and down and hit the sides. (It took some work to get my actual question answered. Eventually he told me it's called a Vibraslap and yes, he has one.)

It’s almost like a Munchausens case, but instead of a rota of long-term illnesses, she’s invented this crazy, traumatic situation for sympathy and attention. Her commitment to the “bit” - starving herself, beating herself up, the branding - it’s next level.
