This track gives me chills everytime man. You’re right, most underrated track of all time. Eminem is one of the goats and one of a kind. Nobody is creating shit like this. Nobody is innovating flows and continuing to put this much passion into their art at age 45-50. All of the haters who are jaded due to racism or just blatant ignorance will feel stupid in about 20-30 years when they mentally grow up and realize the greatness of this MC. Kings and legends never die. Fuck Charlemagne, Lord Jamar, Melle Mell, Benzino, Gucci Mane, Ja Rule, Suge Knight, anyone that works for Diddy, and all of those racially biased brainwashed dudes. They will never be anything compared to Eminem in this rap game and they know it. Thats why they’re salty and act the way they do. Time will prevail and they will all disappear, while Eminem will continue to be appreciated and loved by the whole world.

This is why we got the whole album Kamikaze. Em said here he'd never forgive us if we turned our backs on him and a lot of people did. He was asking for help and reassurance and people talked so much shit about this album... so he came at everyone that said a word. ...shame we may never see Em open up like this again after that.
Love this song and Revival in general. Some great songs on that album. Walk on Water, Caste and Arose.. you did good on this one Em.

The problem was the market was all about Drake and the Migos, and nobody wanted to think when they could focus on the glitz and glam of mumble rap. Plus, most media outlets were essentially phoning in their reviews and they mainly focused on the fact that the beat selections were not congruent with their "image". The industry was selling dross and denouncing gold. They wanted the youth to aspire to a certain image, not actually addressing the situations and inspiring them to overcome their background and adversity.

It's sad that he even had to make this song to question his fans on if they still believe in his skills and talent sounds like his fans let him down which lead to him writing this and then people just critique revival and called it wack and trash all bc no one took the time to sit back break the shit down and actually pay attention listen to the words he's saying understand he's just a human he needs the emotional support just like anyone else he just about gave up music bc all the people hating on him
The bars were never the problem with revival. It's mostly the beats (for me anyways) and marketing.
