There is lots of information on the '55-'57 Thunderbirds since they are such popular collector cars. The blue you are looking for is "Starmist Blue" and the paint code is 11547. One of the Auto Parts chains will mix you a can of it with that code. It is pricey at $30, but this sounds like a more involved project you are willing to spend time and money on. In the alternative, there are number of hobby paint companies that could get you this color in an airbrush ready jar for less money if you are wanting to go that route.
