Kupwara Pakistan Bat Attack: 27 जुलाई को भारतीय सेना ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में कुपवाड़ा के कमकारी सेक्टर में पाकिस्तान की BAT यानी बॉर्डर एक्शन टीम के हमले को नाकाम कर दिया. इस दौरान एक पाकिस्तानी घुसपैठिया मारा गया. BAT में आम तौर पर पाकिस्तानी सेना के विशेष बल के जवान और आतंकी शामिल होते हैं.मुठभेड़ के दौरान मेजर रैंक के एक अधिकारी समेत पांच जवान घायल हो गए जबकि एक जवान शहीद हो गया.कुपवाड़ा में तीन दिनों में ये दूसरी मुठभेड़ है, जो जिले के कुमकरी इलाके में आतंकवाद विरोधी अभियान के दौरान शुरू हुई.
