The delivery of exos in these songs and the production on these is just insane. Yes we knew NiNi wasn't going to be present, they had mentioned it. They did put his name on it though which was so cute. I think HMO feels more like the tt because we had it first and it's catchy! I was prepared for Kai not to be in the MV so I didn't experience that sense of disappointment while watching (sometimes "spoilers" are helpful) but I think even more so, I have been prepared for this comeback to be a little bittersweet ever since he suddenly had to enlist. We knew he wouldn't be here for the promotions and a full-group tour won't be possible for awhile. I am strangely even more excited to see the live stages and promotions than I usually am (even though I know Kai won't be there).... maybe because we haven't had live stages since Obsession era and even longer since music show appearances etc. The boys have been talking about how all their live appearances for awhile have all been doing solo or sub-unit stuff and I just really really look forward to seeing this song performed by them and seeing them back in their element. The MV actually looks like they had to re-shoot it without Kai. That's the feeling I get when I look at the set design. The teaser let us know there would be 7 but at least Kai's on the album so it's a plus. The LIVE they talked about the voting process between 'Hear Me Out' and 'Cream Soda' ... we got our Nini in 2 MV's and that makes me happy. The whole album they're singing like there's no tomorrow. This isn’t something I usually pick up on but I ended up feeling a bit disappointed they didn’t use that shot where the lights are lower and the water is reflecting on the ceiling more. That was vibey as hell but they only used it for a few seconds which seemed like a shame. Hopefully they use more of it in a performance video or something. Anyway, I’ve missed EXO and their absolutely off the charts vibes :’)

I think in terms of "wow" factor that is expected from title tracks, Cream Soda is a slightly better option. It has a much sexier vibe, and the MV is so stunning. Both songs are catchy as hell though. This album...EXO just keep setting the bar higher and higher...

Yeah a good amount of us knew Kai wouldn't be in the MV which is really upsetting. But, he'll be back eventually. It definitely would've been a lot sadder if we didn't have the first 2 MVs.
