Nikon P1000 zoom test - Climber

The shot was taken without a good tripod but gives an idea of the incredible zoom capabilities of the camera.

Well about 1000.00 usd for camera and then you need accessories etc in total costing me with extra batteries, cases, chargers, blah blah blah about 1700.00 usd investment to have it set up correctly.

Wesley Mooney where does it say without a tripod? It says without a good tripod, it was mounted on a cheap one but definitely a tripod. Human can’t hold a camera like that at max zoom and zero shake. Lmao, and you call someone a Sherlock.

Finally a Nikon superzoom with RAW support! On my interest list. Just wondering, does it allow manual exposure compensation in video mode? The P900 required some ugly workarounds for planet spotting, which included flashing light into camera and exposure lock to tone it down. Would be great had Nikon provided such feature.

Yes, now you can choose "manual video" to have complete control of the exposition

On the 9th I will get this rush order to me with about 1000.00 extra in accessories :-) Oh how much fun I will have to replace my binos with this camera. Of course real up close images/photo belong to my 20in dob f4 :-) But that is a 20k setup vs a 2k setup.

It's really good OLED 2.3mpx and really better than the P900
