Which species of that tree makes the best honeybee forage and will survive USDA zone 7B? Why do you cut it to the ground after the first year? Would you want to do that if your growing it strictly for bee forage? I’d rather have a big canopy to support more flowers than a telephone pole looking lumber tree.
