I would open a second window on Google street view. That way, if he walked past an interesting place, I would freeze UA-cam toggle to Google and follow his path. I could pivot and zoom in for a close-up of side streets and interiors of shops.

In my country (Costa Rica) now is very trendy amongst people to travel to Paris and take the 2 , 3 mandatory iconic pictures to show off in FB. Price for such trips ranges to $4k to $6k. Watching this, I wonder if it is worth?
It's not, really, but I can see why you think that. France brainwashed the world into thinking Paris is pretty. The main problem is most of Paris is much newer compared to let's say London or Rome. The streets of Paris are largely all presented nicely because of the Paris Reconstruction in the late 1800s. All well and good, but that's why Paris sucks. It doesn't hold as much architecture as other cites and everywhere looks the same. The city on the outside is grime. Paris has a lot of falling down buildings and isn't all that.
Paris is beautiful not only for its architecture, it's also beautiful for its culture, activities, people and gardens . I've lived there for 3 years, it's really wonderful.
