I have driven in just about every major city in the USA, but South Florida has the worst drivers by far! I live in Lauderdale and commute to work down in Miami 5x a week. Just one trip from Fort Lauderdale to Miami, you can expect your average commute to be like this: 1. People know they are supposed to be in the far right lane of US-1 for at least a half mile in order to get on the 595; however, people will drive up to the last possible section of road and aggressively try to get in and cheat those who have waited patiently, or they will just pull up at the end and expect you to let them in. 2. You can expect a backup of traffic as soon as you get on I-95. 3. If they are signaling, that means they are just using their signal as lights to go with the beat of their music. If they aren't signaling, watch out!!! That means they will cut in front of you at any moment! 4. Semi-trucks and other slower vehicles will occupy the supposedly faster left lane of the road, further congesting the interstate. 5. There will be at least one, but typically more crashes between exit 22-16. 6. Exit 16's exit ramp will have a line of traffic at least one mile long and one of the two exit lanes will be blocked by an accident and emergency personnel. 7. Between exits 16 and 14, traffic is at a crawl. Yet, people will weave in and out a dozen times and still only be two cars ahead of where they would have been had they just stayed in their original lane. 8. Those coming off the Florida Turnpike will expect you to let them go from the far right lanes all the way to the far left in bumper to bumper traffic so they can take the express lanes. Most likely, one or both of the express lanes are already closed due to an accident, yet they take the express anyway and then they will go over the plastic poles and either cause or nearly cause another accident in the process. 9. There will be a stalled vehicle blocking a lane somewhere between exit 10 and exit 6. 10. Throughout the trip, motorcycles will split lanes and drive the line swerving in-between slow or stopped vehicles. 11. Exit 3 is much like the beginning. Everyone knows to be in the right two lanes for about 1.5 miles to get on 836, but lots will go in the regular lanes then aggressively cut you at the exit point. 12. You finally arrive near the work destination and realize you have to endure this all over again on the way home in just 8 hours.
@@ActionKid strangely where i live St Augustine, its always the people from up north driving in the fast lane way to slow and you can tell who drives way to fast and aggressive yep its the local Floridians.
To be fair, Miami has a lot of New Yorkers and transplants from other places in the northeast too, not to mention Cuba and other places. I-75 over on the west coast of FL can be pretty bad too, with those midwestern knuckleheads over there.
Very aggressive drivers in Miami. Actionkid seems you are learning or have to learn to drive aggressive also. Be safe/be careful!! At the last clip were you driving when that white suv cut you off? It didn't sound like your voice.
Yes, the drivers here can be very aggressive. It helps to be a defensive driver here but it can only help so much! We shouldn't drive aggressively to match other peoples' aggressive driving.
It seems to help somewhat. Californians don't get taught defensive driving in school, and their stroads and freeways have more crashes than Texas' stroads and freeways
When I lived in Florida I couldn't believe how bad the drivers were. It was out of control. I used to remark to my friends that driving there was like being in an Indiana Jones movie, total adventure just driving to the store. I love Florida though, had a great time there.
Avoid driving on I-95 in Dade & Broward, that’s the key to surviving in SFL. It’s a out of control racetrack of fools & clueless jackwagon’s, at all hours. Never seen anything like it.
Driving a manual in Miami-Dade/Broward is absolute hell. The only reason I didn't go for an automatic was that I wouldn't have that much fun on the backroads or track. If any one you have driven near Aventura or Biscayne you'll know how I feel. 😔
@@saynotodrugs5765 True, but what's the fun of paddle shifters and pushing the shift knob up and down? The experience of using the clutch whilst flowing throw the gears is a very good feeling once you get it mastered. No "Automatic" comes close to that.
I was recently in Miami (July 23 from Los Angeles CA), and THAT was my experience as well. I was shocked at how mean and rude Florida drivers are, and also the almost non-existent highway patrols. I rented a car but next time I'll bring the dash cam because it was a permanent risk to myself and my family's life, I even witnessed an accident on HW freeway and called 911 to report it. I was in Houston before and they are pretty bad drivers. But the Floridians took first prize by a long shot.
and I’m not talking about transplants/travelers. I’m going the speed limit on the second lane, and you have cars aggressively tailgating you and speeding to pass you from both left and right lanes, aggressively cutting you off. It’s like all the locals know how to do is drive boats and they think a car should be a land version of a water ski. People don’t cooperate to merge, and when you need to exit, no one’s trying to let you change lanes. They’d rather block you off and go ahead at the cost of you missing your exit. So ppl of Florida, stop being delusional and know the reality. It’s not just your youth, it’s the middle aged males AND females
This is a video that is unbelievable. Action Kid is exposed to constant dangers moving in space, especially with the participation of vehicles. American drivers are not distinguished by increased responsibility towards other road users. It's not Germany, and it's not good old England, it's much more dangerous. Although walking for Action Kid was also associated with many unpleasant and conflicting incidents. Therefore, as they say - be careful buddy, watch yourself.
Action Kid- This video was very Good!! It had me sitting on the edge because you could see how poor people drive without turning on their turn signals!! I enjoyed this.
I was in Orlando for a week and Floridans drive on a crazy level, they simply don’t follow traffic rules, cut you off randomly, road rage, not let you change lanes when you signal, make illegal left turns, etc. Oh’ and stopped in the middle of the road with no driver in it. We almost T-bone a car that was trying to make a last minute left turn on a fast traffic straight line 😢glad we stopped in time and didn’t hit them… we honked them like crazy and they just didn’t move until a few minutes later.
I'm telling you right now ActionKid....you have to keep up with the vehicles in front of you a bit closer. As long as you keep a big distance in between you and the vehicles ahead of you, people will continue to cut you off. I'm not saying tailgate, just catch up. Don't be afraid to set the pace either. Your lane is your lane, and the other drivers see you clearly. The last driver would not have done that if you had kept pace with the bike. Just saying...
I don't think people from "blue states" migrating will make driving in Florida worse. In fact, I find New York and New Jersey drivers to be better drivers in general compared to many of the ones in South Florida.
@@ActionKid I'm originally from Brooklyn now suburb of San Francisco have family in Florida and I drove Florida and you are right drivers are crazy there. It must be the Spanish influence or the humidity.

You need to pick up your speed a bit in Miami. It's better when everyone drives the same. Have a few Cuban coffees and you'll get the hang of it. It's also worse at night.
Ay 1:22, that is also an Arizona driving habit, especially in Phoenix. They do that especially if your in the HOV or fast lane there. Glad I left. That rarely happens in Texas.
Just as bad here in England, United Kingdom. You have to be very careful, here, in watching other drivers as they are not to be trusted, and the speed that some of them come flying down the road is just an accident waiting to happen, and drivers on mobile phones. You have to be doubly alert when crossing roads here as you can be taken out so easily, having said that, an awful lot of pedestrians appear suicidal when crossing roads without looking.
Everyone always thinks they have the worst drivers where they live. Bad drivers are quite literally everywhere. Some areas are worse than others, but there's no one single place that has the worst drivers.
Another surprise was that my car insurance rates went DOWN after I moved to the SF Bay Area from Miami. South Florida drivers are legendary, in a bad way.
Most of the time you are driving slower than the rest of the flow of traffic in the left-middle lane. That's one of the contributing factors to you almost getting hit and side-swiped multiple times...
Aggressive driving CAN be controlled. How? Put unmarked patrolled cars on these highways and when they catch one, have him or her pull over, call a taxi or uber to pick him up and have the vehicle towed. Said vehicle to be returned AFTER the driver appears before a traffic judge and pays a fine of $500 and has to attend a safe driving class!! Also 3 points on license.
worst place to drive, drivers are always on their phones, overtaking without looking to see if there is a car next to them, no blinkers. florida needs to change its third party driver's license exchange laws. you can't give a person who came from a" village in Nicaragua" without exams and without anything a FL license.

Reminds me of drivers in NY and NJ.
I've encountered many aggressive drivers in NY and NJ but I find there are generally more in South Florida.
@@ActionKid strangely where i live St Augustine, its always the people from up north driving in the fast lane way to slow and you can tell who drives way to fast and aggressive yep its the local Floridians.
@@alibhg3063 Considering that Massachusetts has the lowest automotive fatality rate in the country, that's definitely not true.
I grew up in Miami and learned to drive there. I am shocked I never had an accident. I learned to drive defensively and I don’t miss it one bit.
started driving a few months back. absolutely ridicilous how half of the drivers have a license.
Just visited Miami for the first time. You would see this stuff every few mins. By the end of my vacation it didn’t even phase me
To be fair, Miami has a lot of New Yorkers and transplants from other places in the northeast too, not to mention Cuba and other places. I-75 over on the west coast of FL can be pretty bad too, with those midwestern knuckleheads over there.
Fr bro
I never stop wondering that how bad drivers you have there in Florida😧Thank you for sharing A K 🙂👍!!!
Glad you weren't hurt, ActionKid.
I'm glad too!
Very aggressive drivers in Miami. Actionkid seems you are learning or have to learn to drive aggressive also. Be safe/be careful!! At the last clip were you driving when that white suv cut you off? It didn't sound like your voice.
Yeah don't counter aggressive driving with aggressive driving.
Yes, the drivers here can be very aggressive. It helps to be a defensive driver here but it can only help so much! We shouldn't drive aggressively to match other peoples' aggressive driving.
Not a good idea to mimick aggressive driver's. Kharma will eventually catch up with them
@@lexbeltran1354 You would LOVE dashcam UA-cam channels featuring 'Karma Cops'!
This is why I am so happy you make safety a number 1 priority! Holy cow!!
FLORIDA is NYC 6th borough just needs to be pointed out 😂
Drivers in DFW can drive fast and well. Texas drilled Defensive driving into our heads from Grade school.
Good you learned about defensive driving!
I love Florida though, had a great time there.
is a tropical jungle out there doode 🤕😛
Avoid driving on I-95 in Dade & Broward, that’s the key to surviving in SFL. It’s a out of control racetrack of fools & clueless jackwagon’s, at all hours. Never seen anything like it.
Driving a manual in Miami-Dade/Broward is absolute hell. The only reason I didn't go for an automatic was that I wouldn't have that much fun on the backroads or track. If any one you have driven near Aventura or Biscayne you'll know how I feel. 😔
Bruh, you can drive an automatic like a stick. Computer always gonna be faster then you at shifting. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No words!
Glad you are safe.
and I’m not talking about transplants/travelers.
Bad Drivers should go to Jail. The state of Florida is One Big Prison.
Very agressive driving.. If only people would free up the left lane to let them pass easily
Thanks for sharing the video ActionKid
You're welcome!
WOW epic, you could create a whole driving stream with this content every day
Action Kid- This video was very Good!! It had me sitting on the edge because you could see how poor people drive without turning on their turn signals!! I enjoyed this.
oh my god, it’s completely horrible in northeast florida. lived there for almost 14 years but drivers keep getting worse and worse
Great video! What camera should I buy to capture this stuff? I drive in Miami and I am quite worried about drivers here.
Exactly! He’s having so many close calls because he going too slow!! Not keeping up with the flow of traffic at all.
Yup!
Driving in Florida is only going to get worse as more people migrate from NY, NJ and other blue states
I don't think people from "blue states" migrating will make driving in Florida worse. In fact, I find New York and New Jersey drivers to be better drivers in general compared to many of the ones in South Florida.
@@ActionKid oh wow! I didn't Florida is that bad.
@@ActionKid I'm originally from Brooklyn now suburb of San Francisco have family in Florida and I drove Florida and you are right drivers are crazy there. It must be the Spanish influence or the humidity.
You do realize that slower traffic should stay to the right. You are part of the problem staying in the middle lanes all the time. Just move to the right and stay out of everyone else's way. You won't have as many so-called close calls.
Thank you! Stay out the way if you don't have somewhere to be. Gainesville makes my blood boil over this same issue. People seem to be on snail speed in town because they have nowhere to be INSTEAD OF BEING IN FRONT OF ME ON A ONE WAY WHERE ITS 45 AND THEY DO 38 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'M SO TIRED OF THESE BAD DRIVERS IN FLORIDA. The people speeding in this video are probably the safest people on the road 🤦🏻♂️ if you're bad at driving DON'T DRIVE
Let's be honest, this isn't South Florida driving... it's Latin American driving in South Florida.
I disagree. Those drivers are from New York. New York has the worst drivers
I live Here at Los Angeles CA. And Long Beach CA. There also crazy drivers. But when I watch your video Miami FL drivers are more different
This is why I stay around Port St. Lucie! Drivers aren't as bad. If I ever want to go to the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area or visit my friends in Delray Beach, I will wait for Brightline to build a station either in Stuart or Fort Pierce.
I completely understand you! I'm very alert when I drive in Miami-Dade or Broward counties!
@@ActionKid growing up I had a lot of family in South Florida, my parents live for a while in Inverary(NW 44th St in Lauderhill) and wouldn't think twice about driving all around Miami and Fort Lauderdale, but now no way!
Hi Marc t my mother and sister lives in port saint Lucie
My mother and sister lives in port saint Lucie Marc t how is it up there
@@meka7418 It's getting more crowded but not as crazy as Miami-Dade, Broward, and Southern Palm Beach Counties. It's still relatively safe again compared to South Florida
Because everyone is from a third world country where driving laws and etiquette dont exist. Best thing i ever did was leave that place. One thing i am not pissed about is learning how to drive there. It prepares you for anything. 👍🏻
You need to pick up your speed a bit in Miami. It's better when everyone drives the same.
Have a few Cuban coffees and you'll get the hang of it.
It's also worse at night.
This is why aliens fly right by our planet... "That planet is infected with stupidity.. warn the others"
Driving in Orlando on I 4 is just as bad !
This is just a small minute fraction of was caught on your dashcam just imagine the countless others that were not.
you aint kidding about that !
Check out the dashcam channels on UA-cam...
Ay 1:22, that is also an Arizona driving habit, especially in Phoenix. They do that especially if your in the HOV or fast lane there. Glad I left. That rarely happens in Texas.
This makes me scared to drive😢
THEY DON'T USE INDICATORS IN AMERICA? 🤯
They should learn!
This ain't that bad. Come see Chicago. No traffic laws and no enforcement. Enforcement sets the example by also breaking all the traffic laws
🤣🤣🤣🤣Welcome to South Florida! Miami Dade County is in a class by itself, though.
Absolutely! The aggressive drivers is something I'm very ashamed about Miami Dade County though.
I hope you stay safe on the road.
Thank you so much for the well wishes! I hope I stay safe too!
This video should be named Miami crazy tesla drivers if you ask me😒
Yep, Orlando is just as bad! Too many close calls, stay safe out there!
I admire your calm approach; can't imagine you adapted that demeanor driving in NYC but nice job nevertheless
@Chinky Ke drunken masters of the roadways - JET LEE
Just watching this video makes driving in DFW look like a cakewalk compared to Miami.
They’ve were driving pass through you like Fast and the Furious! SLAM!!!
California, Florida, Texas has some of the worst drivers I've seen
agree! Lived there for 2 years
If you think that's bad, don't ever drive in Georgia! Glad you are safe and ALWAYS keep your dash cam on!!
Everyone always thinks they have the worst drivers where they live. Bad drivers are quite literally everywhere. Some areas are worse than others, but there's no one single place that has the worst drivers.
most of Georgia is ok just avoid Atlanta that is really a mess!
@@waverider227 mostly agreed, but I have witnessed crazy drivers all the way down in Macon
Imagine how lazy you must be to never use the signals.
They’re all New York City transplants
Not at all. In fact, I find New York drivers to be better drivers in general compared to many of the ones in South Florida.
this is everywhere in florida
I haven't really encountered as much aggressive driving in Florida outside of Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Please Action kid. Get rid of the car We want you to take us walking around or scooter around
Yes on the bad Florida drivers. Didn't they move down from up north?
How fascinating is Barefoot vlogger on the history of the postle service and the Boca Raton beach . Such a joy to lisyen and walk with your friend. ❤
in many cases the left lane is blocked. so the ones in the left lane are actually the bad drivers whereas the one speeding away is no go
Another surprise was that my car insurance rates went DOWN after I moved to the SF Bay Area from Miami. South Florida drivers are legendary, in a bad way.
Insurance must be pretty high
Most of the time you are driving slower than the rest of the flow of traffic in the left-middle lane. That's one of the contributing factors to you almost getting hit and side-swiped multiple times...
No its not. Stfu an stop victim blaming.
Florida has some of the worst drivers in general, Orlando and Fort Myers drivers are some of the worst I've seen
Wow 🤭! I'm surprised by the pick up. The chest master !
Great video, we do have some of the worst, most aggressive drivers anywhere, and like a true New Yorker I see you’re on that horn a lot 🤣🤦♀️
I wouldn't call that "a lot". He actually didn't honk very much.
@@BadDriversOfNapa it’s a joke, I’m from NYC and we have a tendency of blowing the horns.

00:50 we were there!
I love these videos lol
Phew ! You sure caught some bad drivers out there on the roads . Do they know what an indicator stick is used for? or is it just part of the steering wheel . Hmmm
You do have to consider that you may have contributed to some of this road rage by driving slowly in the third lane of a four lane highway.
don't be stupid enough to state that on his channel.and r u stupid yourself,ak is prolly the safest driver you'd meet, going a bit slow isn't cause for others wreckless driving.
So many reckless drivers!
When my cousin first moved to the US (Florida) he used to tell me how bad the driving was.
I now believe him lol Do they even have a driving test over there? As it doesn't look like it.
