- This song was sung at the Governor's Honors Program at Valdosta State University on July 16th 2013! The song is Balleilakka from a tamil movie called Shivaji (The Boss).
I was in the audience for this... GHP was life changing, I just can't even describe how beautiful it was.
this is the best version I've seen online, that was awesome and so perfect!! I love the soloists too!!
I know it's been said probably 700 times, but this made me cry like a proud parent. Not just because it was such an amazing (understatement) performance, but because I know that I'll never be able to witness that kind of talent where I am. I know reunions usually are in increments of 10 years, but can we set up a reunion for next year?
GHP, where the days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days. Missing GHP.

I love watching this and I can't believe that I was a part of it. It blows me away knowing that I sang with some of the most talented people EVER. I miss this

The power of music crosses language boundaries... wow... WELL DONE
I just watched people of different races take a great Indian song, and sing it together in a western classical setting. If that doesnt speak to the awesome unifying power of music, I don't know what does.

I have listened to a loooooot of performances of this and the male soloist in this one is my favorite I think.
