- Armex tomcat 2 with some custom crossbow bolts made by @WeaponCollector going up against my level 2 vest. Last bolt did the best, flew true and stuck straight. just need more power in the prod

Yeah. But that's a puny little crossbow. You need to use a at least 150 draw weight then see what happens....
my 215 lb crossbow would go through the entire vest and keep going
@@liamlandy8308you got soft hands brother try a 315lbs bow
His accent make me think he have a pot of gold hiding somewhere 😂🍀
Isn’t that a scouser accent ?
Great tests mate, the stab proof stuff is decent really for what it can stop and can be surprising!
I'm actually a little cheesed that i can't seem to get trough the thing! going to try bayonets next.
@@MilitaryHistory2011 I only got 20mm through a level 1 stab vest with my 175lb compound!
Try a Ravin R500 with AP heads.
Have you tried a hammer arrowhead?
They're ment for small game but they act like flying hole punchers. The idea is here that any metal and ceramic would be hole punched instead expand around the side slowing the arrow (like with a piercing tip)
Find a crossbow that the string hooks under the bolt head instead of driving from behind the shaft. You'll gain more energy and accuracy
I'm going to be running a few tests on this vest so i'll see what i can do!
that's incorrect as a physicist sir. hooking under the head would be a slight bit more energy but that energy would be lost through inefficiency of the off kilter vector of the string compared to the arrow and causing wobble and more resistance and entropy. thermodynamics really.
@@brandondrew4914 ua-cam.com/video/MG40wZ9ps3U/v-deo.html there's actually less slop in the travel. They fly truer, but I'd love to see an upscaled version that uses a crossbow
Nice, I wanted to do the same test but with more powerful crossbows and heavier bolts. Think I'll wait for the Sixbow to come out next year then run the experiment.
I'll be using my rifle crossbows next time
my crossbow shoots at 415 fps with a 20" bolt and goes clean through front and back plates with still enough force to kill a deer. 215 lb draw.
Try it with armor-piercing arrows the ones that have the elongated tips the one specifically built for wartime I would love to see how it would affect the material
Getting some proper decent views mate!
Tell me about it! Seems to be that the videos I put the least effort in to get the most views.. think I'll do a few more of these
Is that redback horizon crossbow 😮
my crossbow would go through front and back and the front plate of the person behind him to be stopped by the backplate. 415fps.
Try the adder
Need a stronger limb fella, my 175lbs jaguar & 150lbs mk350 compound fly though level 3a soft plates with bodkins & G4 broads.
Me got kone tomcat2 with 120pound, really powerful, can not cock by normal way, have to try harder
That’s a pistol crossbow the powestroke too low
Gel blasters and crossbows are illegal in Australia compound bows are ok 😭
Use a toy bow will do the Same 😂
Can I have one please 🙏🙏🙏
How many pounds draw weight is that cross bow???
draw or weight?
@@brandondrew4914 draw weight
Very…. Relevant given the location, lol
That looks like a very weak crossbow
