    ---
The Pandora Tool 3.0 from Pandora Lab is a compact 21-in-1 tool that allows divers to perform all sorts of field repairs and adjustments with a single tool. If you need to adjust the IP of a first stage, tighten fin straps, remove a port plug, change a pro-valve insert from yoke to din, change a regulator hose, or even open a bottle, this tool can do it.
There are definitely pros and cons, such as it is so lightweight and compact, but the compactness means the tools can be a bit cramped and not always the easiest to maneuver in tight conditions. For example, while removing a DIN insert on a tank, the other parts of the tool may scrape the 1st stage some if you aren't careful because there's no real way around them.
Overall, I think it's a great pick up for a travel save a dive kit and something I plan to continue to take with me on trips now going forward!
This video is NOT sponsored, however Pandora Labs sent me the Pandora Tool 3.0 for free and said I could make a video if I wanted, but didn't influence the video at all. Some product links are affiliate links which means if you buy something we'll receive a small commission.

Is there any way that I can get the tool from Amazon? Oh and it's also made of titanium oh wow that is nice 👍

Sadly it’s not available on Amazon yet. The owner of the company said they’re looking to get on Amazon though!

Following the principle "If you need one - take two, if you need two take three except for fins" I need two of them, just for redundancy.

Interesting, wonder how well it will work in the real world. Concerned about being able to apply enough force with all the projections opposite each tool. Price seems high. Although it is Titanium. A stainless version to reduce price would be nice. Excellent choice for a review.

I believe they sell a stainless version as well. It’s not an affiliate link or anything in the description for their link, I just found the product, wanted to try it, and so far am enjoying it with the con of the size meaning it’s sometimes tough to get into tighter spots as you said, due to the extra tools sticking out

Definitely interested.... until I saw the price. 😅

Yeah it’s a bit steep. I’ve seen knock off brands on Amazon for a little cheaper but I think the titanium also gets the price up

BTW, talking about carry on, do yo know if it's ok to have a line cutter in the carry on?

21 in 1 design and material is titanium not to rust, this is very practical I guess.

  • @bloodymarvelous4790

I see several issues with its design.
The Allen keys and screwdrivers are all parallel, and the same length. That makes actually turning it when it's in a port plug an absolute nightmare, or it would be if it actually had a 5mm Allen key that would fit them. A star design would've been 100x better.
The staggered wrenches make attaching or removing hoses a pain or completely impossible. You won't be able to turn the hex nut if there's a hose right next to the one you're trying to remove or attach because the prongs are hitting the hose next to it.
And all that for the low low price of $130.
It's an absolute waste of money. The XS Scuba ninja star is a far, far more practical tool, and it costs less than half of this design failure.

    • @CircleHScuba
      @CircleHScuba  4 місяці тому +1

Fair points I think. I like the tool and I think I called out some of these same cons too where the shape makes it hard to get into some spots. The tradeoff is using more than one tool in most cases. I’ll check into the XS scuba one too, thanks

@@CircleHScuba 10:24 demonstrates exactly my points. Removing the donut adapter, you're scraping the valve knob, and jamming against the valve stem and you've barely made a quarter turn.
At 10:30 you can't even fit the tool on the nut or turn it because you're right up against and catching the HP hose.
It's got everything, but in a way that you can't actually use it.
It's like buying the greatest padlock in the world, and it arrives with the shackle closed through the keys holes. The only way you can use it is to destroy the lock or destroy the keys.
