a) Each pile has 14 cards minus cards. b) You have removed 10 cards (10 letters from the word Impossible) c) The deck has 52 cards, minus 10, 42. d) The total on the three cards is 14 times 3 minus the three numbers on the top. So, 42 minus the addition of the three numbers. e) So, the number of remaining cards (42 cards minus the ones on the piles) is the same as the addition of the three numbers
