You can play as soon as possible and upload witha bit of delay so people have some time to play for themselves and then they can follow your playthrough after maybe while they are taking a break

Depends on if you've completed the main game completely if not you should do that as the DLC is meant for people with nothing else in the main game and will be very difficult and quiet unenjoyable without being properly prepared. Another quick tip if you make Youtubing a giant competition trying to compete with everyone else you'll probably get pretty burnt out or just straight up start hating it. You should do what you want when you want and not worry about what everyone else is doing. Just do you homie.
That was genuinely some fantastic advice bro thank you fr. Also, i have completed the base game i just didn't have enough time to get the rest of the videos out before the DLC. I was doing 10 hour streams and had to cut it down to a 45 min video it would've taken me a veryyyy long time to finish it for UA-cam
It's a Fromsoft DLC; difficulty will be brutal, "endgame-plus" stuff. Odds are it'll make the Haligtree look like a sunny day in Limgrave ... at least until you get the new enemies' moves down. Continue your playthrough and come to the DLC in your own time. If you're not already knocking on Miquella's, door-- uh, rather, withered husk, there's no need to rush. Oh-- and command grabs are a standard From attack form and have been standard since Demon's Souls. I'd even say they've gotten marginally more fair; the stun/grab combos you see from certain tentacle-faced horrors in DeS and Bloodborne are the stuff of nightmares-- you know, the ones where you're trapped in place and can only watch as some horrible *thing* closes in on you with distressing speed. They are rarely to never anything resembling respectful even when they're not literally chowing down on your body or mind. Demand not respect from such beings; rather, carve the proof you deserve it into their wretched flesh.
In case no one has said those swords can be acquired from the boss's remembrance. Luckily for you, you fight her within the first chunk of the DLC. Be warned though she won't go down without a fight 😅
For uploading your gameplay, I’d honestly say play it right away. Enjoy it, film it, don’t let yourself get spoiled. Then you have all the footage and you can choose then whether or not you wanna upload immediately or hold off. Could always release a vid and then rerelease it later if it’s not doing as well as you’d hoped. Either way, enjoy this masterpiece of a game!
Your so close to finishing anyways, you may as well wrap up final boss and go over stuff u may have missed/prep for dlc for a stream. This way when u start dlc we should be past ya by a bit so less likley to be spoilt/so save watching (but not so far/long wait u feel u are missing out). Also, Dheezy, ya understimate the massocism of the Souls community. We will slam out heads against a brick wall/boss for hundreads of deaths, often i a row. We will be glued to ALL Elden Ring Media, and will likley just binge all there is available, regardless of if it's the same content.
