Amazing technique, But...I feel his tempos on many are too fast! Much of the refined subtleties are lost...I guess at his age he's out to prove his worth as a Virtuoso pianist with these blistering speeds.
Esageratamente veloce in tutti i preludi. A me questo Rachmaninov suonato così non piace, anche se molto pulito. La tecnica deve sempre essere al servizio della musica!

He takes 32/10 and 32/11 quite a bit faster than I'm used to...
I feel many are way too fast!! At these blistering speeds much nuance is lost.
Why op. 23/ 1 such stressy and fast-without any tension? ? ...Its written in Largo-Tempo!
