    Jahangir Khan when 17 started a winning streak of 555 Professional Squash Matches. Heather McKay (USA Racquetball Hall of Fame) was undefeated in Squash between 1962 and 1981 and only lost 2 matches in her entire career. In 2018, AU, Cameron White had won 16 AU Titles in AU Racquetball while being undefeated after 17 years. His tally has since increased and remains undefeated in 2021.

    You don't understand #1 unless you play rball and #2 unless you see him dominate everyone else in person. He is the best, frankly doesn't even try half the time and crushes pretty much every other pro even they would absolutely embarrass all these UA-cam experts. Oh yeah he is a super humble and nice guy in person. I have met him several times.

      He should not play the outdoor game if he does not want to. He certainly has nothing to prove. But the greatest outdoor players like Craig "Clubber" Lane and Greg Solis should get some credit too.

    Jahangir Khan (Pro Squash Player) went unbeaten in 555 consecutive matches over 5 years and 8 months... just sayin if you want to include unbeatin winning streaks of all sports.... but... Kane is the best RB player of all time in my opinion

    • @mrbobevans
      @mrbobevans 9 років тому +1

      Steve Belmonte There are some who believe Jansher Khan was better than Jahangir Khan. RB is not known outside of North America; I know that sounds harsh but it is true. Squash is popular in many countries where tennis is hardly played such as Egypt, Indonesia and Pakistan. Tennis is the most popular racquet sport by far.

    This is probably the best racquetball documentary I've seen. And that's saying a lot since I have my own racquetball channel, Classic Racquetball V (ua-cam.com/channels/EKu7QhgMvkdlT310k8r1WA.html) with 44 videos so far. This is the kind of project I strive for. I've watched it a few times over the years and I'll probably watch it some more. Great combination of interviews, action, statistics, voice over.

    I have never understood why so many rball players are the cockiest people on the planet. It's not just Kane, though he's the leader of the pack, but this sport has suffered greatly because of this. Just act like normal human beings and work towards making the SPORT great again, not just yourselves!

    The guys doesn't seem to be as humble as he ought to be. I am not sure how he sees himself, but he has many-many reasons to be humble. The rest of the planet sees a guy who plays a sport almost nobody knows, and most of the people who know the sport, or play the sport, have no idea there exists a pro level. He's from canada, enough said about that. He doesn't appear to have the capacity to string together more than two sentences and remain cogent, educated sounding, and or interesting. As a "pro" racquetball player I would estimate he earned eleven dollars the last two year. Plenty to be humble about

    Sudsy did not dominate Cliff. He got #1 rankings but he never owned Cliff head to head. As a matter of fact they changed the rules and went to one serve because Cliff was so dominant. If they had kept two serves Cliff would have won more. And yes Kane is a total tool. He has every right to be confident but he comes across is such a jerk. I guess you could say he's earned the right to gloat because his accomplishments are insane. But for crying out loud take a lesson from Roger Federer!

    I personally think Marty Hogan and Cliff Swain are the best players of all time (based on style, etc.) Anyone who gets suspended for doping for 2-years (Kane) loses all credibility with me. Just like the situation with Lance Armstrong.. once you find out he was using drugs you just lose all respect for them. There's something to be said about integrity and character.

    It's really too bad he isn't likable. It's not great for the sport to have a complete tool represent your sport. It reinforces the stereotype in gyms across the country that racquetball players are washed up jerks.

      Do not speak about what you do not know. A) Kane is a super good dude - especially with kids - he gives back - he teaches - I've personally seen him take time to talk with kids and sign autographs. B) I'm in the gym 3-4xs per week playing RB - I am far from washed up and never a jerk. I pay it forward and take time to get kids involved in this great sport. I donate time, racquets, balls and positive energy to keep this going. Kane is the GOAT - he deserves MORE recognition than he gets. An amazing athlete.

    Worldwide:
    1 - Tennis
    2 - Badminton
    3 - Table Tennis
    4 - Squash
    5 - Racquetball
    And we all know the popularity gaps from 1 to 2 and from 4 to 5 are the biggest gaps on that list. So he's the best at racquetball... who really cares?

    • @scottner
      @scottner 10 років тому +2

      Let's put it this way.
      You put Kane, Rocky and De Larosa up against the world's top 3 tennis, badminton, ping pong and squash players in a contest of racquet sports, each athlete playing the other sports than their specialty, and I would bet on the racquetball players to win it all. Could Nadal beat Kane in squash? Seriously doubt it. Could Federer beat Carson in badminton? I don't think so.

    • @jsphotos
      @jsphotos 9 років тому +1

      ***** Dream on. I know a lot about racquetball, and the other sports as well.
      Tennis: Tennis is a "several level" sport - it's FAR more complex and requires a larger skill set than racquetball. Kane would get *crushed* in tennis.
      Squash: He would be competitive, but squash is not just a power game; there is more finesse. Kane is not a finesse player; he's all about powering the ball. If you think squash is an easy game to pick up at world class levels, you are kidding yourself.
      Table tennis: Are you kidding? Do you know how many years it takes to develop the touch and reflex sensitivity for world-class table-tennis players?
      Last: Racquetball became a FAR less interesting sport when it suddenly changed in the 70's from a finesse and power game, to exclusively a power game. Unless one is an afficionado, the current style of racquetball si boring - compared to the multiple level game that it used to be. Don't believe me? Take a look at racquetball's relative popularity compared to the three sports under discussion, above. NO comparison.

    • @jsphotos
      @jsphotos 9 років тому

      ***** I forgot to discuss badminton. No way that any top end racquetball player is going to walk onto a badminton court and challenge the best in class. Badminton, worldwide, is also more popular than racquetball.

    • @scottner
      @scottner 9 років тому +1

      jsphotos If you bothered to actually read what I wrote, you wouldn't have offered up such a silly response. The premise of my posting is that they would be competing with stars from the other racquet/paddle sports in their "off" sports. Can you grasp that concept? So we are talking about Kane playing Federer in badminton or squash or ping pong, for example. I believe that the highest level racquetball players have an overall higher level of agility, foot speed and eye-hand coordination than most of the other sports' top athletes. The other sports' athletes might be superior when it comes to endurance and conditioning, however.
      So are you saying that a badminton player would crush Kane in tennis? Or do you think a squash player would beat Rocky Carson in ping pong? Possibly, but I like the racquetball players' chances.
      As far as popularity of the sports compared to that of the 70s, that is irrelevant.

    • @SteveBelmonte
      @SteveBelmonte 9 років тому

      ***** eh... a top pro squash player is going to destroy a top racquetball player at badminton....a top tennis player is going to be great at table tennis as well... You have no idea what you are talking about......
