Rule #1 - You DONT run water over the foam....you drop the foam in a bucket of water and let it soak from the bottom up. You may end up with dry spots in the middle doing it your way.

Wow! Love this idea. U can preserve the roses by slicia gel, or glycerin mixed with water, or soy wax, allow dry for a few days to a week, than put the dried roses, flowers in resin to last much longer.

LOL We just got our daughter a golden retriever and named her Lola...look for her star guest appearance soon. Gee...I kinda live in a petting zoo now. Ha! I love it, I did the stripes thing too, then went to the pink stripes and added stips of pink rhinestones where the pink was and lines my box with foil it turned out just as glam

The way I made my box of roses you don't use the cover. You could use the cover if you cut the foam in half and made sure the top of the roses falls just at or below the top of the box. Have fun making your box of roses. Thanks for watching, commenting and following. xo
Hi! The box was about 10". I bought a paper mache box from Michaels craft stores. They come in various sizes and shapes but you can really use any box. Target has some cute boxes in their gift wrap section or you can reuse a box and spray paint it or cover it with fabric using Modpodge. Have fun getting creative with it and making it your own. I would love to see photos of your project when you complete it so email them to me to post on my social media. (:
