Many introverts try transforming themselves into an extrovert at some point in their lives, only to feel more nervous, insecure and awkward. I did this for years when I was younger and it wasn't a great feeling. In time and with life experience you learn instead to focus on mastering the quiet confidence that lies within, whilst remaining true to who you are, by harnessing the habits that come naturally to you. That's when life opens up.
I am an introvert why? coz I don't like to interact with other people, it makes me nervous , insecure and many more thing... I don't know how to motivate myself for overcoming these problems? Also all the "so called power of Introvert" If I relate myself from given video " power" I think I have imagination thing and to stay calm in any situation. "Life sure is more challenging" for introverts.
I grew up in a extrovert family, it difficult because I was expected to join with social events. As I got I just refused to comply and took off somewhere to be a lone. I became really feisty because, I felt I didn't like people very much because I was being judged. It has got easier for me articulate that I'm a self-contained person that's enjoys solitude. I'm not someone that gives advice often, but I feel strongly that we introverts have an important place in life and we have be true to ourselves.
@@emmaransford can definitely relate to being 'that one in the family', it can be hard when you're younger and forced to be drained of energy at extended family gatherings etc. Now I just smile and feel completely comfortable minding my own business. I always preferred to be locked into a deep one to one conversation with someone in the corner than the noise and overlapping shouting in the middle of the room.
@@aakashraj2653 I think how you feel around people may be separate from introversion, but the feelings can overlap. I've always found, really being honest with myself and even writing down how I genuinely feel and what exactly are the areas I'd like to become more comfortable in, is a crucial starting point. I'm so intune with my surroundings. When I bring something up, my friends always say they didn't notice what I point out. It just seems so natural to me to see things many miss
In various school group settings I keep hearing from my peers that they wished I had spoken up more so they could get to know me. It pains me so bad to hear this as an introvert. I'm quiet but I care deeply and am engaged
I read an article that said: Lock downs are basically like a dream to us. I totally agree. I just love being alone in a quiet, harmonious & peaceful place.
Whenever I'm with my friends I tend to act kind of different....in an extrovert manner,i talk a lot, socialise with others of which i don't know well...and i dress up different in a way my friends will accept me...but this video made me realize that it's not about how others see you or what they think about you... it's about how much they understand who you really are...and I wish my friends would understand that but I guess you guys do really understand me....thank you sooo much... I can't explain how much this means to me
I consider myself an introvert. Years ago I stumbled across Zen Buddhism, and let me tell you, I became even more of a recluse, which I highly enjoy. The inner trip is even more intense. Deeper into my own little world.
The only point I differ is a sharp focus on a task. Mind is always active and leads me in different directions. Plus, always expecting the next interruption at any moment, it's rare anymore to get into that zone where a task practically completes itself.
I hope people can learn to stop getting offended. Being offended is a choice that doesn't communicate I'm concerned or I'm cautions, more so that you care what others think. We should not care what others think, but what Almighty God Jesus Christ thinks. All of the qualities in the video are what Jesus teaches in the holy bible. Interesting 💚
@@rabzi1972ify I’m not much for talking either which is why I collect “archaic words” that few know the meaning to, I like to subconsciously make others think outside their 📦📝
introverts like to listen-in group settings especially. This means we often hear more of what's happening. We catch things others miss. This makes us a great asset in meetings and an important addition to negotiations or any important discussion
I am most definitely an introvert - and proud of it! Another quiet power I can think of is the power of mentally, emotionally and practically looking after and focusing on myself which in turn gives me the ability to be emotionally present and mentally available to others so all of the self reflection and me time really does become a super power later on when it comes to caring for someone else.
I been that way for years. I been misunderstood about it too. I rather be quiet than have the TV going all the time. I love to read, cook and listen to music of all kinds .
I can relate to almost everything up here. Especially to natural creativity thing. My mom's always like "you focus to hard "...!! I'm like "So that's a good thing.
I identify with every single one besides the boredom and concentration one lol I think I have Adhd and get bored very easily and find it hard to complete task or stay engaged for too long unless I’m high or it’s something new I’m learning. But monotony kills me 😫
Wow this video is completely relatable. The insight gathered I noticed I am equally introverted as well as extroverted. The other super power that my personality type has is the ability to heal oneself. I am able to feel my energy, rhythm and flow and if these are off I can immediately tell. Because of this super power I am constantly aware and able to discern or detect imbalance. I appreciate you sharing this video.
That’s why I preferred closing. As opposed to opening the grocery stores when I was a key carrier. I was in charge and there was no idle chatter with my fellow managers.

God willing... God Bless...
I’m definitely an introvert but have engaged in some antisocial behaviors in high school and college which I won’t describe here. But I feel bad for those antisocial behaviors and won’t ever engage in them again. I know I’m a good person who made mistakes in the past and don’t want to repeat 🔁 it or burn anymore bridges 🌉
In my view introverts / extroverts are the extreme ends of a spectrum, and most of us can be introverted some of the time and more extrovert at others. That said I like the general message of this video and can relate to much of it.
Before another comment is posted (for the idiots) there is no such thing as an ambivert. Just stop with that. You either get your energy from being around other people or being alone. There isn't some wishy-washy middle ground.
I find that introverts are more independent which I can appreciate. Also we don't care what others think of us, we are strong in self love.
💯

Many introverts have their extroverted moments, yet that reserved nature is the best inner power trait they have 💕

Indeed, though I like background noise as well, helps me focus :) Just like I can't sleep without the fan on, the white noise relaxes me.

Sometimes I hate myself for being introvert. Everyone thinks I'm an idiot.
You are not idiot just because other people (most) tend to think only themselves instead of trying to understand others...
They think you’re odd for not trying to fit in. It gets easier as you get older.
