    You don't need a flat bum adjustment, they're perfect as-is!! You are very inspirational, you make me want to run into my sewing area and sew ANYTHING! LOL! Love your channel!

    Gorgeous. I have been thinking about making these for a while but have never attempted trousers before. I love the pale blue linen you have used and hearing your hints and tips has definitely given me the confidence to make me think I might manage to make them. I love your idea of showing how to wear different patterns together and am looking forward to the next video.

    I'm loving this series and totally agree with earlier comment about doing an autumn wardrobe pattern and fabric options, also perhaps a winter set too, then maybe a pattern series on white blouse pattern and design options as a white tee and white blouse are a wardrobe classic, basic component. I really like your combination of pattern, fabric and wardrobe building. 💐🌟🌟

    Great timing. I have just bought the Lander pattern and was planning on making the shorts first to get the fit right! So far, I have all of the patterns you have shown but haven't made the Marigold yet either!

    Hi Lauren, love the look of the Lander pants and yours look great 💞. I'll definitely think about making them soon. Just made a couple more Ogdons so they will go great with them and they are much needed in this hot weather we are having ☀👍. I'll probably make the Marigolds first to ease me into trouser making 😉. Thanks so much again Lauren for the great review 😊😘

    Your versions are lovely💕I was interested in the flat bum adjustment as haven’t done this and maybe why I struggle with trouser fit- too much fabric at back. Could you say a bit more about it?

      Thanks Ruth, I talk about it a bit more in this video on ginger jeans - I hope that helps. The Closet Case Patterns blog also has more information on it along with different types of adjustments for trousers ua-cam.com/video/3JmWqzsCEnw/v-deo.html

    Loved the colour of the shorts and the length was just right.I loved the sandals you were wearing with them.Could you please let me know the make and,if possible,were to buy them from. I liked the trousers and I think they would look good in a pattern

      Thanks Maureen :) My sandals are from Clarks shows when the did a collaboration with Oral Kiely a few years ago. Maybe there would be some on eBay?

    Love love love your videos! Everything you make looks so beautiful and professional, but how do you finish off your inside seams? I don’t have an overlocker, but would love to know how to achieve a neat job on the inside..

    • @LaurenGuthrieGhani
      @LaurenGuthrieGhani  6 років тому

      Thank you Beverley :) I use an overlocker to finish off my seams and I think its great, so quick and so neat. I have to admit that I don't use my overlocker for much else or anything fancy and I'm not even an expert at threading it up but I know enough to use it for seam allowances. If you do a lot of dressmaking I personally think its worth the investment :)

    Lovely collection. How do you think I could enlarge the Ogden? So annoying that the size range is limited. Like yours

    • @LaurenGuthrieGhani
      @LaurenGuthrieGhani  6 років тому

      Thanks Jan. Oh to be honest I'm not entirely sure, pattern drafting alteration isn't my speciality and I think it would depend on how much you needed to enlarge it by and also where the enlargement is needed. If its by a few inches then extending the side seams of the front and back bodice might be enough, or if its at the bust that is needed and not all the way around, then doing a full bust adjustment and adding a dart might do it. Sorry to not be of more specific help, these things are always tricky as there are a few options and variables when enlarging a pattern.
