Thank you for another beautiful video Mindi.. Very much appreciated.
Hi, Mindi, I love your explanation, on beginner Corals, I'm a fairly new Reefer, also the sea horses are so awesome. will continue watching your videos. Thank you, Johnny Martinez, Disabled V. Nam Vet.
Good job with the review Mindi!
Great video. I am by no means an expert, but most of the corals you mentioned will be listed under soft corals if you are shopping online. LPS have a stony base so they sit in between soft corals and SPS.
I'd love to see more seahorse care videos
no sea horses but I got to see some really nice softies..anthelia, sinularia are some faves...cespitularia is on the list
Nice I learned a lot, now I'm inching closer to going full reef haha thanks for the well done video. Hope you and your pets are well:)
Hi Mindi; what did you mean by dipping the coral to make it open? What is it and how do you do it? Great video!
Are those coral you spoke about in your tanks. dost look so form the tank behind you. I was wanting less invasive corals because I am starting with a 10 gallon nano but planning to upgraded ro a 40 after a while and they have grown. You have given me some ideas. I love how you have left them to grow and being there is no rock thay are all in sand bed! I did see a small 5 gallon done like this and was so beautiful. Maybe he was going to transfer to larger as they grew. Can thy be moved to another tank later? It looks more beautiful and so graceful, elegant and flowing! I am blown away. maybe I shouldnt get rock like everyone else does! Is georgogian the purple feathery one? I saw them really cheap on ebay! Like less than 10 bucks. I have never seen them in a tank. All your corals are soft because of seahorses right? One more question, sorry so many. Will clown fish make anything flowing a home like an anemone or does it have to be an anemone? What is the huge white coral in the middle and how old is this tank? Thanks so much! keep up the great work :)
You have a gorgeous tank an awesome video keep it up thumbs up from me
Can you share the brand of the tank you're using? Its the best I've seen so far
Hello mindi, have any reef Aqua scape tips? I’m new to saltwater and trying to learn as much as I can.
Hi Mindi, what kind of lights are on this tank?
I only wish you had more tanks. You have it over the King on tanks that are homes for fish and animals. He's still in the box of fishes look.
I guess im a beginner then . the only one I have in addition is duncan . and acans
Mindi do u keep anemones? and did u ever have fresh water tanks?
ever feel a odd sensation when you brush your arm on some softies when cleansing glass? like a very very mild burn?
my Yuma mushrooms and Kenya tree have both given the odd sensation. doesn't hurt at all but it does make me aware.
Can zoanthids be with seahorses???
👍🏽
How do you keep Gorgonians in a low flow environment for seahorses?
Photosynthetic gorgonians are easy to care for if you have good lighting. You can also drop in some zooplankton with a feeding tube or dropper.
Let me State the obvious two words. Eye candy. And I'm not talking about the seahorses.
So how often do you have to feed the seahorses
Recommended feeding is 2 to 3 times daily but I feed 2 times every other day.
i think ive said this before, but you are one stunning woman... beautiful. on to the reef talk, i have a 20 gallon AIO, i currently run no skimmer on it, would you recommend me running one?
Second
I have a question can sea horses live with clown fish?
Yes they can. Just make sure they don’t out compete the seahorses when feeding them.
@@MindiSmithPerformance oh and sorry if this is too much but what about tangs such as yellow tangs.
I would not do tangs. They most likely would out compete the ponies for food. They also tend to pick and could nibble on the ponies and cause harm
First
Your beautiful I don’t have to tell you that, your tank is beautiful also
So trophy wife with enhancements
Hey Guys, I made a mistake about the comment I made regarding LPS and SPS being beginner/advanced corals. What I meant to say was that soft corals are beginner corals and stoney corals are more advanced, where as stoney could be either SPS or LPS.
Hey Mindi, what settings do you use on your Hydra 52 light? (ON YOUR MAIN DISPLAY TANK)
