I thought I was watching Home Improvement, great job it looks simple enough to make I would definitely come in handy with my books thank you so much for showing us all
Great project JJ, thanks for sharing. A small pair brush will help on the last corner piece. Since your painting them you can also use paintable silicone to fill those gaps then paint.
Hey bro I want to try to make this project I wanted to ask if you think this same formula would work for a cgc encapsulated book maybe with some larger dowels and would it be okay to use a circular saw?
@@jjforeal2 thanks I’m definitely gonna try it out have you thought about making these to sell there’s a crazy market for these and what’s available doesn’t look hall as good as your design bro the wooden ones start off at 20 bucks a pop stain or color them and that price doubles plus this design is gorgeous
@@obtattz_throwbacksclaud1201 thanks a lot. Nah, I did sell aluminum cgc frames back in about 2005. And they did sell, but I wasn’t good at marketing, and lost my supplier for the metal.
@@obtattz_throwbacksclaud1201 no, sorry. But....maybe I’ll grab the stuff to do it for cgc cases also. It’ll be a bit tho. Currently got 3 projects in the works.
Nice video dude! Only suggestion is lay the mitre box on the edge of the table so it won't wiggle around when you're cutting. If you notice, there's a longer lip at the bottom of the box.
This specific frame will be a giveaway soon, but if you mean how much for the materials to make yourself, It cost about 42-45 dollars to make 10 frames. Plus whatever paint you choose.
Great job
Awesome video! Will be doing this very soon
Thanks for the great idea! Already ordered the top loaders and will be copying it this week.
Would it be okay to use a circular saw
This was amazing thanks for the info

Lol. Thanks tat. With that sick cabinet you made you should have no issues with this project.
ya ,I could use some of thoses for sure, have to get some more top loaders
Lools great JJ but dang that is a ton of work for a frame. You got skillz my man!
Kinda is to much work. With my power tools I can knock em out in 10 minutes tho. Not too bad.
Great project JJ, thanks for sharing.

thanks! Great tip
Very cool
Did it bother anyone else how close he was working to the front of that Porsche?
I like to know the 8 people who gave you a thumbs down. I'll bet that they don't even want a screw driver let alone a comic book
Haha thanks
what brand of top loader is that??
I think it was either ultra pro or bcw. I’ve bought both, but it’s been over a decade that I’ve had them. Hope that helps.
wow i need to make this

Yea, it should work, like you said, larger dowels, and have the back board longer to accommodate. Circular saw will definitely work.

Nice tip. Thank you
Nice work and I love the top loader concept... makes it super easy to switch out comics if you want to.
Great video my friend. Thanks for sharing.

All I need to know is how much. Let's make that happen.

I'm not from the US, so getting it ready made would work for me.
Where are you at in TN?
