I like the F4U Corsair because is one of the few planes form the WWII that has a Legacy still going on strong today, and because it has a very cool looking profile 😎
Haha! That's funny, I like WW2 aircraft and cold war jets. There were some aircraft you didn't mention like the P-47 and AT-6 Texan. Let's not also forget B-25!
The P-40 and P-51 are the most Vanilla WW2 aircraft I can think of. That being said they are actually pretty good, they earned their love and appreciation/fame. I’m just saying that everyone knows them.
But how can you compare such different aircraft like fighter, bomber and reconnaissance, and even mix propellers with jets? What a melting pot. It's like comparing a racing car with a lorry. How to compare such different vehicles? I personally find it better to classify them into categories like type (fighter, bomber and so on), power plant (propeller/ jet), number of engines, and make combinations between them.
@@supersonic9052 Even Saburo Sakai once said that, if in good hands, the P-40 could be a tough enemy (at least below 5,000m). Furthermore, the P-40 was so much "trash" that some pilots like Clive "killer" Caldwell managed to shoot down almost 20 enemy planes onboard that "trash".
Fun fact the SR-71 was supposed to be the RS-71 but the president (I don’t remember who was president then) accidentally swapped the letters around so Lockheed had to go through and change hundreds of documents from RS to SR
The sr72 doesn't actually look like it does in the movies. It only has one fin and is more streamlined so it can reach mach 5.213 (6437 km/h), making it twice as fast as the sr71
As an Air Force aviation enthusiast I’m just happy you mentioned the KC-135, because that’s my favorite plane. The reason being that it was the first ever jet refueling aircraft, I like the look of the aircraft, and If I join the Air Force, I think it will be amazing to fly it since it’s pretty much a modified/functional 707
1:40 ain't that a helicopter? and please do the F-117 and could you do a favorite ww2 plane says about you? because I know like 10 or more or 20 or a bit more
just a little bit of a tad bit of the V-22 is that it new and the UH-60 had the same problem with crashing a lot as it was new and with new systems which is why UH-60 got the nickname of ''crash bird''
Aye, sport not only do I like your pfp but your very skilled at analysis of the planes your talking about. Now I personally am not too much of a plane enthusiast but I recently played HAWX 1 and the aircraft I believe that I call my service plane was the "Mirage 2000 C" but the upgraded version is "Mirage 2000 5" (I honestly get mixed up with the two since that are kinda similar) Now the plane I differently can call my favorite is the "Consolidated PBY Catalina" or "Catalina" for short. "Call of Duty World At War" made me fall in love with it, and the music is god made. Now just talking about this, I now remember my first favorite plane and it was the Warthog Thunderbolt. As a kid, the only reason why I liked it was because of the shark painted face because sharks was and are my favorite animal. Another plane I used to like as a kid were the torpedo planes (The "Grumman TBF Avenger"). I discovered this plane when I was playing a game called "Battlestations: Midway".
I like the b-29. I'm just saying the only reason I like the plane is because of how big it is and how it looks different from all the other planes because of it front glass
I’m an odd ball… p-38 is extremely underrated and the a20g and the f4 phantom 2… guess I just have a quirk for ground attack planes that can also hold its own
I very happy that my favorite, dogfighter of that century plane, the P51 Mustang was on this list. I love this plane and I'm tryna grind for it on War Thunder!
The f4u is the greatest plane in my opinion but honestly I have a lot of respect for the f4 so I don’t get mad I just corrected you and say they are both great. Side note I don’t know if you already did but the xp-55 is pretty cool

I like the F4U Corsair because is one of the few planes form the WWII that has a Legacy still going on strong today, and because it has a very cool looking profile 😎
bro the designers really just said f*ck it, folding vertical wing
I like the f4e. Vietnam napalms are/ were a beast.
I LOVE that WW2 plane and it’s my favorite WW2 one too.

P-39?
I wouldn’t count the Texan. Yes it was a WW2 era plane, but it never saw combat. It was a trainer plane
Oh yeah, the Mitchell is a legendary bomber.
The P-40 and P-51 are the most Vanilla WW2 aircraft I can think of. That being said they are actually pretty good, they earned their love and appreciation/fame. I’m just saying that everyone knows them.
The most UN-vanilla are things like the p63

I love how the SR-72 just stares into your soul
My great grandfather was a pilot on the F4U Corsair
Wow
Fun
It is a very nice plane, VERY hard to fly, especially with the length of the nose
My brother was a pilot on Boeing 767 Passenger Jet Aircraft💀
a legend
I didn't know these included ww2 lol. My absolute FAVOURITE is the SBD Dauntless. Workhorse of the US Navy fighting Japan and won us Midway.
Finally someone understands how underrated the p 38 was. In my opinion best used in the Pacific era, one of the keys to winning the war over there
I like the P-40 and the F4U both are pretty awesome but the P-40 is more of a underrated legend
Ong, everyone I know that knows what the p40 is just says it’s trash. Honestly I think it’s was a legend in its era

Don't knock the tankers. Nothing gets far without them.
The F104 was almost overpowered in the era where all planes had guns, and dayum the maneuvarablity
I ain’t sneaky, I’m just good at spying.
I love the f-111 because of the party trick it had but unfortunately I never saw one fly
The Douglas Skyray
