@@steveborst5386 Yeah, against children basically. The field was a joke back then. Most current colleges golfers would have competed in Jacks days. Strength of competition has gotten way higher. Even from Tigers prime until now.

I have always wondered if, when Tiger announces it will be his final US Open (or something like that), the entire field will wear red on that Sunday in homage of the greatness that was his era

People who didn't watch him every week years ago, don't realize that he never lost. I mean every single time he was in contention he won. That Sentry Tourney match winning put was absolutely ridiculous.
As much as he dominated, it should have been so much more. He had 14 majors in 2008 and around 75 PGA tour victories. Everything went downhill after his cheating scandal came out. It should have been 25+ majors, around 120 PGA tour victories by now. His father told his impact will be as big Gandhi and he is universal child. If he did not cheat or be disciplined in life. He could have been the most dominant individual athelete in all sports

Best golfer ever.. The reasons why people won't invest right now: Crypto crashing, Record inflation, Bear market fears, Rising interest rates, Housing bubble talk , but maybe, these are reasons to invest now
After it all crashes then you invest. Get the stuff no one wants for dirt cheap. Then your losses are minimal if things don’t pick up. Everyday as food goes up your money is worth less. It’s good now to have a lot of precious metals on hand. The value is to all the hassle that chaotic market causes.
I'm glad I stumbled upon this. Before now, I spent more and saved less. Expert Benjamin Graham changed that mindset and gave me a way to make money by investing in the financial market. Working with him opened my eyes to many investment opportunities, which in turn helped me become less dependent on my income.

My biggest fear is we lose the finess aspect of golf . The Tour players all admirer Wesley Bryant’s short game bc it’s possibly the best in the world … if you’re the best shooter ( steph curry) you’re in the nba .. fastest sprinter you’re in the Olympics . If you’re best short game in THE WORLD can’t stay on tour then I lose interest . Golf is creativity to me and many others .
That's already a problem the game is now driver, wedge putt. They need to dial back the golf ball so it doesn't go 300 + yards. They can't lengthen the courses at some venues and it would be easiest to adjust the ball verses the clubs they use.
Tiger is the pioneer of using the long ball to play holes in ways other players couldn’t. His ability to blend power and finesse is what the players today modeled their games on

And remember, Tiger only had half a career before he was injured. He still managed to eclipse Jack nicklaus not only in total tournament victories (82 vs 75) but also the margins of those victories. Jack never won majors by double digits but Tiger did this more than once and broke records that had stood since the game began in Scottland. The GOAT
