insane puzzle difficulty they are throwing at you, all the puzzles before were doable without much trying but this needs quite a lot of steps, thank you saving me from brain melt!
Yeeeah, I really don't like these puzzles. They don't fit or add anything to the game at all. I half expected a free skip to pop up after resetting the puzzle a few times.
@@paroo Did you happen to notice a bug on the first time you see these orb puzzles (on the quest titled Mysterious Girl 2 - one of the echo flashback scenes with Lenne). Sending the orb up/north, there's no collision for it to hit the edge of the arena. It goes up and off-screen and hits a panel that unlocks the gate in another chamber 😂 the screen scrolls up to follow it but everything goes black. Thought my game was softlocked at first but opening and closing the map fixes it.
@@thediamonddust ?? That's kind of hilarious. It's why you have to rotate saves! I've run into a lot of weird bugs in this game though. Walking into the void.. opening menu/saving mid credits.. cutscenes playing twice, etc.
@@paroo I learned my lesson about using multiple save blocks over 25 years ago playing Final Fantasy 7. Naive child me only ever used one file - 100hrs+ on the clock and it got corrupted (I cried 😂). Honestly haven't noticed any other bugs in Chained Echoes though, rather surprisingly. What system did you play it on?
I’m near the end of my first playthrough- great game- found these puzzles anddd… yeah, no. Thanks for the video, these would’ve drove me insane. Like seriously isn’t this a little excessive here-

You're welcome! The first one really took quite a while. Got caught up with moving the bottom orb up a different way and thought that was the solution. The other two actually only took a few minutes.
I would have stopped playing the game altogether if these had been earlier in the game before I invested 40 hours into it. I despised these puzzles. They managed to edge out the crystal system for part I disliked most

Youll need the key to the church in southeast Perpetua. It'll unlock places to fly to
