Seattle City of Cranes

- In late 2016 and early 2017 Ryder Levett Bucknall reported that Seattle lead the nation in construction crane deployments. This short attempts to capture the incredible level of construction activity in Seattle by featuring some of the very visible and impressive tower cranes around the city. While showing off the hardware, this unfortunately doesn't do justice to the fine work of the army of constructors and operating engineers needed to make them all work.
Featured names:
Leibherr Tower Cranes
Morrow Lift Equipment
Leavitt Cranes
Ness Cranes
Mortenson Construction
Sellen Construction
Hoffman Construction
Jaydee Contractors
Frank Coluccio Construction
Michaels Corporation
Skanska
Exxel Pacific
Turner Construction

Never thought I would say it, but the Space Needle looks so short now.
Excellent! I won't recognize the city when they are done though.
It’s booming it’s gonna be the Manhattan of the west coast it’s surpassing SF
And I thought Boston had a lot of cranes right now.
Will these stand a big earthquake?🤔
epic.
So much "bland boxy bullshit" being built
Seattle lucked out with amazon hq1 campus. The city council tried their best to force amazon out of town. Instead of playing games and retaliate they left seattle. Not entirely left but hq2 will not be here. Sad to see what seattle did to amazon and boeing.
Bellevue will pick up some of the local hq1 expansion but thats very minimal compared to what amazon hq1 had planned in DT Sea.
And Seattle Socialist Council Pig Lady Shwarma 0
Bezos 100
Nice work Seattle.
I'm not sure who "Shwarma" is but Kshama Sawant is an overbearing egotistical psychopath.
Too bad you missed the larger point and focused on one company largely responsible for the major socioeconomic issues Seattle and other major cities face as a result of Amazon.
Seattle rarely if at all faced the sort of issues we face now as a result of Microsoft, Nintendo, Boeing and other major players in this area LONG BEFORE Bezos and his ilk moved in and took over. Paul Allen is also to blame for buying up a vast majority of property in SLU (South Lake Union) with his company "Vulcan" and selling most of it to Bezos/Amazon.
The best thing that could have happened to Seattle was if Bezos NEVER started Amazon here in Seattle.
But you're obviously too ignorant to concede that F-A-C-T!!!
Idiot!
