Had I waited for a man to provide or validate me as a woman, I’d be homeless and desperate. I’m also prior military (gasp.) Building myself with God’s guidance has served me better than any man has. I have friends, family, and joy. But then these kind of men want to live in a house working full time and come home to watch TV and play video games before going to sleep, meanwhile his wife has to work full-time to watch kids, clean the house, help the kids with school work, schedule doctor appointments, run back out of home to the pharmacy for the cough and cold medicine, feed the pets, read the kids stories to bed, feed the kids and the husband before she feeds herself, and do any next day prep to make the next day just barely easier to handle.
