Hey girls - so nice to see you back! Amanda - I am so glad to see that you are feeling better!! Major surgery requires major recovery, even though it's beyond frustrating to be stuck. Good thing knitting is a pretty stationery activity, lol!
And in case you never figured out the case of the unknown sock on DPN's... you were knitting them in one of your first episodes. You were making Miss A her "Charlotte" socks, and had decided the cowboy (?) ones were supposed to be for one of the boys, but they didn't fit, so Miss A was going to get them too. Good thing you waited... now they should fit your little guy! ;)

Amanda!! I feel your pain! I had a c section in march and was discharged from the hospital in less than 48 hours. Apart from the epidural, I didn't take any pain meds other than Tylenol! So I totally feel you! Take your pain meds before getting your staples out! 💕
Knittingitup congrats on your baby! You are my hero, I don't think I could have taken care of a newborn at the same time. On the flip side, I didn't get a sweet newborn to cuddle with 😜

Amanda, glad you are healing nicely, so sad I didn't get to see you and Christina.☹️ I did get to meet Eric (Sticks + Twine) & I got 2 bags from ZigZag Stitches (small drawstring bags), llamas and then the skeletons, and a dpn holder. I asked about you both at her booth. I also got the limited edition 150 yr birthday yarn (beside The Needle Emporium booth), I didn't get to see anyone else because my fiancé was having back problems (he has metal rods in his back) so we left at 12:45pm.😔 but maybe I can get to the festival in KW in September. Happy Knitting ladies! Lots of love ❤️

So happy to hear you are on the mend Amanda!! I have a shawl pattern that would work well for the two colours of wool you have that you feel are too similar. It's the Kallara by Ambah O'Brien and it seems to look best with two really similar colourways.
