the doctor never appreciates anything the patient does
For everyone's sake: Appreciate in a medical context means "consider". So, saying "I don't appreciate that he has X" means "I'm not considering that he has X"
No shit....
That's a closer to the proper definition use. Which hopefully people can appreciate.
Thank you! I was wondering why he was so unappreciative. lol
Figured
You explains the medicals terminologies and that’s what I appreciates about you.
"He could also have a lack of money, and I don't appreciate that"
I suspect he skipped so much of the exam so he wouldn't get red in the face.
Yess!!!

He doesn't appreciate alot of things.
😂
I like this doctor. Very professional atmosphere and procedure. I would feel very safe in his care!
I'm pretty sure this Doc was on his A game in med school. Very great understanding of the nerves and signs of nerve issues 👍
Maybe he was, but this is pretty basic stuff. All the med students in north america know this stuff inside out.
Michael FutureDoc than why are there so many medical negligence cases occurring in "North America" ?
Karthik Karthik simple.....what do you call a doctor who graduated med school with a C average?
Angry Medic c-grade doc 😂😂
Karthik Karthik basically lol. Either way....he's still "Doctor" and you'd never know you had the dumbass of the class unless he either A) couldn't sell his bullshit very well, or B) you died 👍

Now, if we did that right, the doctor and the patient are supposed to get red in the face, but I suspect only I got red in the face this time.
we have 8 minutes for the NAC exam... how does one do a full neuro exam when typically it takes 20-40 minutes?
“I’m gonna do this but USUALLY I would do something else way more accurate”
You missed the balance test under cranial nerve VIII in which you was to use a tuning fork to assess laterization of sound and air to bone conduction.

Medical doctors use the term appreciation to note what is present and isn’t present.

So when the doctor says he doesn't "appreciate" something that means he doesn't agree? His use of appreciate is odd.
TheMeJustMe75 means he doesn't observe that.
So what you are saying is that he is speaking Canadian? I don't trust Canadians, thanks South Park! Actually, I love South Park.
it means to feel or observe. So if you can't appreciate something, you can't feel or see it.
TheMeJustMe75 he's speaking doctor. We don't use appreciate that way in normal conversation in Canada
It's called expressive English/language

The tv, the stopwatch, and the book
The way he says “I don’t appreciate that” bugged me. Is it grammatically correct? Surely he meant “anticipate”?
it's correct. appreciate can also mean that you don't realize something.
It's grammatically slightly more correct than the way it's generally used. It's like an old way I believe that used to be used more often that way. Words change their meaning a little bit but this guy doesn't appreciate that.
Great assessment.
