On UK3 you could have used your surviving transport near india to go through the suez canal with 1 infantry and taken Italy. That would force Germany to split their forces in 4 directions (benelux, france, italy, and towards the eastern front), and if they used a fighter to kill the transport, that's one less available for counter-attack. I think it could have been more devastating than transporting units back toward India, which was pretty well stacked already.
Should have also taken Leningrad from the Germans instead of dropping into France. It's a safe city after UK takes it since Germany lost all of her tanks and has no infantry nearby...
Honestly really enjoyed this series so far. Very different from my CoH2 replays but still very enjoyable (even if it takes a while to record). Is there a strategy you would like me to try? Let me know! Also I will fix the audio... sorry.
Hi thanks for sharing this , I would like to play this game , is the game up to date and supported by the developer? I hate to spend the money on the game and the game not work and be buggy to the server to be closed out , thanks
a better axis player would have purchased a bomber for germany to deter the UK and USA forces more. and your opponent I'm not sure what planning on with 4 air craft carriers and 8 fighters at the end that were just sitting for a few rounds....those planes would have been more threating in france while also acting as turn disrupt. ive been working on a strat that uses combo air force but it only works with heavy early pressure from japan and smart trades with germany while correcting predicting what the opponent gonna do
Your R3 was a great turn, but the analysis seems way off. The all out Russian offensive knowing you are buying mostly infantry is the best play for one simple reason. They cannot commit further troops to the front with Allied troops in the west. Without those tanks and his wasted air force earlier, your opponent has no ability to push into comparable numbers of infantry in Russia. Japan is coming, but they also struggle to have enough punch to actually take you. This game is won with USA and UK picking apart Germany. Given that board state, it's a no brainer to kill the tanks, although I would have sacrificed a plane to keep a tank to capture the factory. That leaves those 4 infantry to try and retake Karelia or let you blitz the northern territories. Overall, I enjoyed your video and I'll have to find newer ones to see how you've grown as a player, but I think you are far too focused on the trading units aspect and not focused on overall game state enough. Russia winning by IPC value early on seems good, but the reality is you're losing a larger percentage of your standing army with less income than Germany. The game was honestly over after G2. There was so much waste in that turn that Germany was no longer a threat to Russia and Japan didn't commit enough tanks to the Russian campaign for that to be effective at all.
The was my thought too. By the end of G2 and UK2, the game was over. The air assault against a carrier and 2 fighters was a massive throw. Buying lots of infantry only works if the air support survives.
Gonna be honest the online version screws up the game in my opinion. Because it rolls for each unit at the same time in one round meaning if you have similar numbers or even greater or lesser numbers over half the time your units wont see a round 2 of combat unless your opponent rolls dog crap. It feels unclimatic and less of a sustained battle and more of just risk

Fair point. With the spike in views for this video, I think I will be returning soon. Thanks for the tip!

very relaxing game to watch
Would love to see a kjf
love to see a total victory game nobody else is doing this
try a strategy where the allies are not motivated with Brazilian Bassa Nova
Was it really an Axis Air strategy?
is the elevator music something you add or the game adds because man I wish something else played after an hour im starting to loose my mind
sorry will not have music next time... try to have some background music in my longer videos
@@GreyshotProductions maybe just having the same song on loop over and over gets annoying need to cycle through more of them if ya want to have music
. Fair
I actually liked the music. Many youtubers do the same thing
I wwould have retreated too (S1), lets see how this pans out.
(s3) That fightwas risky, too bad you could't capture it though
That music almost had me going crazy
Sorry after this I really toned down the background music.
Awesome. Thanks mate

This guy's bad strategy was only matched by his opponent 😂
Compared to the original Hasbroo computer game the 1942 game blows balls!

and the interface are ugly
... What? (It's the same thing in the actual tabletop game...)
Theyre "ICP's" not "CP". Do you know what cp stands for? Lmao
Command Points in CoH2. The game I normally play
do you play any ranked games and if so, do players do they same to you like they do to me? they will wait 24 hours to make one move
