I was technically homeless as a full stack engineer living in my SUV making 120k a year. My bills were under 1k a month and it was the most free I’ve ever felt. I’m building out a box truck to continue that lifestyle.
The way mango articulates his words is showing that he’s very intelligent and possibly highly educated. I don’t think he’s lying. Not everybody wants to live in a large home, or lavishly.
I knew a homeless guy who came to Southern California from Philadelphia via train hopping. He left his family cause they all mentally abused him (so he said). Always respectful, willing to work, never on drugs or alcohol. BUT always refused to get a home. One day he passed away after being hit but a car. The hospital staff found $834,000 USD in his personal property while they were searching to I.D him.
Money means nothing to him? That's what people who have Money say. To someone who is hungry, or doesn't have enough gas to get to work,it means everything.
i am very isolated in my home and i have a little bit of money. sometimes i wonder how fun it would be to get rid of the home and socialize all day instead. it is certainly possible that mango has money but chooses to live the way he does. i still consider it every day. and i am not homeless and dont need to be homeless anytime soon unless i want to be. my few friends call me crazy.
I don’t think your crazy at all. Some people just have that adventure spirit, I’ve thought about saving a good chunk of money, getting an rv & just going on the road.
You're not crazy, a lot of people are coming to the realization that the common 9 to 5 lifestyles is modern day slavery. You're simply thinking outside societal norms, enjoy being mentally free my friend
Instead of considering getting rid of your home entirely, find a good house sitter. Make sure you have an airtight contract that states they are not residents and will leave after 22 days. Invest in a travel camper and take off for 21 days a month. 🥰
If your a woman, I would never recommend going on your own!!! If you do make sure you have a fire arm. I've gotten tired of paying rent one time and decided to drive to Philadelphia and live a life without paying rent and let me tell you, it's dangerous! There's a lot of crazy people. That idea worked for like 3 weeks. Even though I was able to protect myself, I still thought, if I ended up using my weapons and I hurt these people and then going through court to try to fight for my innocence, thank goodness I didn't use my weapons and didn't get hurt but still it's dangerous. I'm going to drive to Miami in the winter time and live there, it's beautiful...

Some people that look "rich" are drowning in debt. While the real wealth comes when you give to others like this man does. I wouldn't be surprised If he really is a millionaire.
