By far the best informative overview of a course I have ever watched. Your videos had me laughing all of the way through, as I learned so much about database. I hope to pass my test tomorrow thanks to you! Keep up the good work, if you where my teacher I never miss a class.
I watched full course of database design...It is actually very good contents you have explained.. but I think you should at least add two more videos in this series about 1) how to design schema 2) nested tables
Thanks for the video Caleb. Let's say I have John (the first user) who referred Mike, and then Mike referred Suzy, and then Suzy referred Dan. Using self-joins, how can I link Dan back to John? How can I find the "original" referee for any given user i.e. the user at the end of the chain. Thanks!
Can you link to examples of full database designs that use these tables and how they relate to other tables in one to many as well as many to many relationships (i.e. with join tables)?

What would happen if you didn't assign any alias to v2.email as there is another field named v1.email?
