I believe in the god of everything. that is my religion. respect and be kind. but black Christian music is a level that transports me to the deepest of my feelings and makes me cry.

One of the most beautiful churches ever. It was a Jewish Synagogue, before it was transformed into a Christian church.

When I was 4 years old I went to a sort of VBS thing my church has on Wednesday nights throughout the summer of 1984. It was probably the last night of SKIP (Saving Kids In Pocatello) when the teacher whose face and name I can't remember said 8 words I'll never forget. She said, "THE BLOOD OF JESUS TAKES AWAY YOUR SIN." I sat there and thought to myself, "What?! Why didn't someone tell me SOONER?!" I had been going to that church a long time, it felt like. I knew Jesus was coming back SOON, I knew I needed God's forgiveness, I knew I needed to repent of my sins ) which I did nightly, I knew I was Hell bound. I quoted John 3:16 and the Lord's prayer nightly. I had a vision of Jesus coming on the clouds. It was fearsome, because I wasn't READY and I KNEW it. But when that lady told me about the precious blood of Jesus and I put my faith in His blood to wash away my sins, I KNEW I WAS SAVED!! I turned 5 maybe 2-3 weeks later. My first day of kindergarten I woke up from a dream that I had just been born. I told my mom I felt like it wasn't the first day of school, and that it felt like the first day of my life. Except what I had learned at church and what the Holy Spirit revealed to me my memory was pretty wiped. By the way, I remember a lot of what I learned before getting saved, but I don't recall a sermon on the second coming of Jesus, that He's coming in the clouds, about Hell, or the term " born again." The Holy Spirit was ripening me. Believe me, it was fearsome. The goodness of God leads to repentance!! What can wash away my sin? NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!! Hallelujah!! I absolutely love this soloist! Praise Jesus!!
