I’ll comment more but I built the wood wall ride. There is clips of me building it and had a big jam in Floatin 2007(mtb). I dont know how long it lasted. This is so rad and I’m proud to have my place in Home Ave history. Sorry Dennis there a legit jam in 2007. Mostly dirt jumpers but a lot of bmx guys were there. Legacy, park at Clairmont and street at Home Ave. there wasn’t nearly the amount of trash and homeless. So while I was sweeping the bottom of the bank to pour concrete and make a transition I looked up and two cops were standing there watching me. Before they could say anything I said I’m not damaging anything, I’m just cleaning things up. They laughed and said said Yeah we see that but why and I told them that we planned on having a contest down here (I didn’t think they would know what a jam was). He asked if I had a permit to do this. I told him No, we are just going 5o go for it. He said good luck, as long as nobody calls you should be good. They told me to have a nice day and split. They were super cool.
I'm sure seeing you cleaning up a drainage ditch had to be so perplexing that they wouldn't be able to ever get it out of their minds if they didn't stop and find out why. 🤯 That's pretty funny.
This was amazing guys!! Took a few road trips out there from Arizona back in the day after seeing the SD guys shredding it. Can't wait to see more of this series!! Thanks for keeping BMX history alive!
This has got to be one of the coolest series. I’m new to BMX so seeing the historical spots is so rad, and it helps give an eye to look for spots by me.
This is one of the sickest compilations of edits I've seen in forever. Brought up many fond memories and has me wanting to go ride and create new ones. Great job and keep making bangers like this!
YEEESSSS!! 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌 I have been craving bmx spot history videos for years now! Old heads rejoice! This was a fun ass video! Super cool to relive those old videos. Shout out to Our Bmx, Fudger and Dennis for always coming up with killer stuff. Yall r breathing life into bmx with every video! 🙏🙏🙏
Best product placement, ODI grips for mic grip. I''d say, use the grey ones though, black one gets lost in the video easily. The grey one might standout more making the ribbing more obvious.
Only been there a couple of times but it was always so good. Got one of my favorite bmx photos on the "bmx quarter" doing a flatty. Joey what lens was that with the center focus???
Strickler's jump over the fence was awesome, but Dave Voelker did a similar jump years before that (1990 I think), I'm not sure if it was at the same ditch, but it doesn't matter because Voelker's jump was MASSIVE and he did it on those paper-thin old school bikes! Couldn't find an image on the web though...
Cool idea for a series
Big fan of these spot history videos!
Yes. Bmx needs more of this. History matters
seen a few videos lke this for skateboarding, but this is the first ive seen for bmx

Joey Cobbs killed it with the filming and editing on this one! Thanks ODI for making the best grips and supporting us making these this year!
If this doesn’t make you wanna get out and ride and build some diy spots. Nothing will. So fuckin good very well done w all the archives
Dang I would love to see more of these.
Thank you Our bmx, more videos like this please!
