Hi Eric. 😄 Love your channel. 🐄🌾 I grew up on a dairy farm so when my dad passed away from cancer in 2015, me and my family had to move and leave our farm and our home. I just really miss it and watching your content gives me a homey feeling so thank you for giving us a little insight in your days. 👍🏻😄 Love from Denmark. 🇩🇰🤘🏻
Eric; for me, the point of your videos is learning about you, your farm and your family. It shows your faith, the love you and your father have working together. It is not very easy to work with a family member, let alone your father. Do what you can when you can and we’ll keep enjoying them. Bob
I’m glad you spend the time to do these videos. Love watching the farm life. Always wondered how the farm life was so kinda gives me a glimpse of what y’all do for America. Thank you Keep up the hard work
I am really enjoying your channel. You have a patient loving father. Its interesting to see how much is involved. Your pop must be grateful to have you.
Your work ethic inspires me.. And I'm a old retired Vet.. But love seeing young folks work so hard😊 keep the videos coming I'm a new subscriber and look forward to your vlog
I grew up part time on a farm. I love cows. They are beautiful animals. I like to watch youtubers that try to homestead and wind up just having every animal they ever wanted all over the place, eating them out of house and home! I know you are happy there.
I was born and raised on a large beef farm in Northwestern Ontario and my husband and I love watching your videos it reminds of being back at Colpitt's Ranch CR just West of Calgary! also worked near Red Deer on a very large operation totally automated carousel milking system!! It's relaxing and not as much work for us watching you do your chores everyday. Love that people show how much the cows are loved and pampered as they are so important infact the most important factor on a dairy operation! Say hi from us to your whole family and keep on keeping on!
If I had never became a sailor and if I had never left the mid west states at age 11, I would have probably become a farmer. For some reason, I am still attracted to the work. I enjoy watching your shows because it kind of takes me back to the time I lived in Indiana and Michigan. :) :)
Eric, I was just reading your comments. There are so many thumbs down. Don't let that discourage you. There is nothing wrong this any of your videos or the work you do. It is all encouraging.
Your vlogs are so informative. I love watching every aspect of your dairy farm operation. Still would love to see where the milk goes and see the truck that picks it up.
Really interesting to watch, I’m a dairy farmer in New Zealand. Our cows are outside on pasture 24/7 and we bring all in at once to milk through a 40 bail rotary We do feed supplements grain & molasses in the dairy whilst milking and silage in the paddock. We only calve for about 10 weeks of the year in spring and mate our cows early summer. You certainly working hard 👍 Many things are similar though- cows are cows the world over 😁 Our calves are all reared together in pens of about 30 and they go outside at about 3-4 weeks old Keep up the great videos really informative
Keep up the good work man. You get better every time while still doing hard work. You're one of my favorite youtubers and give me a good laugh every video. Hope you're having a good one
"Hey Dad, I brought you a Pepsi." OK, that was funny. What was even funnier... was that grin on your face, (and the thumbs up), after handing the can to your dad. Your dad's a good sport. Probably a good guy too. He did a good job raising you, that comes across in your videos. I seriously enjoy watching your video productions here, which also takes time out of your life every day/week, on top of what appears to me to be a very physically strenuous day to day job you do. Your constant watching, or paying attention to the lives of the animals in your care, their health, their comfort, that is admiral. That care does not happen in all farms. I grew up in non-rural environment, so these videos of yours are a serious eye opener for me. I knew milk came from cows, but it was just there for me, on a shelf in a cold case at the grocery store. OK, perhaps not that removed from what goes on to get that product from the cow to the table. Perhaps??? But you're doing a great job presenting the job, the activity, the inherent in's & out's of all it takes to produce a glass of milk. From someone on the outside who's not dealt with any of what you do, (and you make it appear almost effortlessly, even at those 05:00 strolls into a barn in the winter dark), I find this all fascinating, (5/20/2020). Thanks much. Enjoy!
Mad respect for farmers. Hands down man. Never commented but really enjoy seeing the process of where our dairy and meat comes from. Amazed on the huge amount of work it takes. Thanks for sharing. Sincerely Michelle Pup Harley and Kitty Liam.
I used to work for this company making temperature sensors and probes, and we had one customer who had a system with a rectal probe for the cow so they could monitor when de body heat builds up when the cow start to ovulate.
Another great video keep them coming, and keep getting more of the family in it gives more of a family group friend feel to the channel. Maybe you could add a jersey or a Guernsey to that herd !
I hope you don't ever get the idea your videos are boring. They are not. I don't live on a farm and have never been on a farm that has animals on it. So keep em coming. Thanks!
Gave me a good laugh when you gave your dad the pepsi. It always hard making rough decisions, but it does better your groups. I've had to do that as I've been trying to improve my herd/flock. -Goat and Sheep Farmer
As you were picking up the Pepsi can the Mother in me said ERIC NO DONT TOUCH THAT. Laughed so so much when you handed it to your Dad to funny 😂. We have had a great summer!! Awesome video Thanks 🌞
As always I love your shows. Keep up the good work and keep the faith. Hebrews 11:6. Someday I hope I come see your farm. I think your cow farming is awesome.
I like what you do. Keep starting out with milking... You can always try another perspective of the same job... I love the running gag with the Pepsi... LOL
Videos are great man. I have always wanted to work on a dairy farm ive just never had the chance. Honestly i envy your lifestyle. Keep up the soda humor.
Ohhhh! You were soooo bad to give that to your dad! I knew you’d well him but I still chuckled... I only have 2 milking cows ...love them both...couldn’t imagine sending them off.... I’ve never been a Pepsi fan ...good ending!
When I was a boy back in Wisconsin in one of those old fashioned winters we still used outhouses, the old two holer kind. I met the hired man coming out of the outhouse and he said to me, "Little boy, do you a fishing pole I could borrow?" "What for?" I said, "it's too cold to go fishig." "Well you see when I was sitting in the outhouse I took off my jacket and laid it down beside me and it fell down the other hole and I need your fish pole to snag it out." I wrinkled my nose and said, "oew! You wouldn't want that jacket after it's been down in all that shit!" He said, "Of course not, but I left an egg salad sandwich in the pocket; that's what I'm after."
patricia here... aww poor white cow is limping... she ok? the one at 2.05... what i would give to love on a farm again... i miss the smells and the cows...
Crazy to think my family is all cars yet I go to Michigan state. Learning horse farm management and dairy management. Because I’ve always been the farmer of the family. This life and everything about it is all I love. May sound naive. But I’m really not. Stayed on and around farms all my life. Ready to bring that aspect to my family. Real hard work. Rewarding work
He is a FANTASTIC worker and i think he's only 18???Picture this lad in his 30's an ANIMAL that's amazing with what he dose +PLUSE+ man in the video OK =====""""Hard work never killed anyone""""" Remember that Buddy.sorry i had to wright this Lad in the VIDEO how you do well in LIFE i'm praying for you and your's.Bless you.

You have no idea how much REAL normal people appreciate your hard work!
Eric; for me, the point of your videos is learning about you, your farm and your family. It shows your faith, the love you and your father have working together. It is not very easy to work with a family member, let alone your father. Do what you can when you can and we’ll keep enjoying them.

Great video. Glad your Dad has a good sense of humor. Really enjoyed seeing the Pepsi get the pavement.
Eric, I was just reading your comments. There are so many thumbs down. Don't let that discourage you. There is nothing wrong this any of your videos or the work you do. It is all encouraging.
I always find it funny how the cows watch everything you do, even driving by with the tractor.
Your vlogs are so informative. I love watching every aspect of your dairy farm operation. Still would love to see where the milk goes and see the truck that picks it up.
Your channel is great for the industry, especially now with negative views about dairies. It shows that most dairy farmers are good people.
Anyone else just scroll throught youtube just to check if there is a new dairy video? Never want them to end! I sure love milking cows!

Yeah that was funny giving that Pepsi to pops. It's amazing how much more there is to taking care of the cows then I thought. Yall got my respect.
Mad respect for farmers. Hands down man. Never commented but really enjoy seeing the process of where our dairy and meat comes from. Amazed on the huge amount of work it takes. Thanks for sharing. Sincerely Michelle Pup Harley and Kitty Liam.

That was great! Love the soda tricks! Look forward to these videos , they are great . Good job
Nice. I laughed out loud when you gave the Pepsi to your dad. Seemed like a long day too. Thanks for the video. Keep it up.
It must be really hard to sell cattle. Sometimes farmers get attached to them.
It's a little hard to see them go sometimes
Love your sense of humor!
I used to work for this company making temperature sensors and probes, and we had one customer who had a system with a rectal probe for the cow so they could monitor when de body heat builds up when the cow start to ovulate.
Eric, I just absolutely loved this whole video! So well done!!!
It’s nice to see your video’s it’s really interest me your farm is looking better
Love the vids and how you explain everything you are doing. You do more before 9AM than most people do all day.
That marking the breeding cows in heat is an excellent idea, I will ask my wife if I can mark her like that! Save a lot of guess work!
That can shot at the end was spot on.
Keep the videos coming it’s getting me through quarantine from covid 19 also they are great very interesting
Another great video keep them coming, and keep getting more of the family in it gives more of a family group friend feel to the channel. Maybe you could add a jersey or a Guernsey to that herd !

Keep up good work. I am get a small dairy farm soon in 4 month. Your milk videos help me alot.
This is one of my favorite video's so far! Keep up the good work! :)
Totally interesting- how about commenting on where you get supplies e.g wood chips, what you get for a bull etc. A few more details.
They have said in several videos they don’t use a live bull. They AI all their cattle.
That's a nice little tractor! It kind of looked like you were paving the road with manure. I thought the stalls drained out into a tank.
I need to put more than just one thumbs up/like for that pepsi idea! Perfect.
really great videos you all have a really great farm and i know it's alot of hard work
Great day long video. Love the idea with the Pepsi can
