He's right, it's dead simple. Put a strong hoppy IPA in a saucepan, add a few spoons of sugar and boil it until it reduces by half. Pour it into a glass jar to cool and store. And yes, the home-brewing masterclass is going to be very, very good!
Half and half sugar to a nice hoppy IPA - cook down to a syrup slowly on a medium heat til nicely gooey. Don't go too far or it will crystalise. Cheers!
Heya - of course we can We're working on a website but til then... 35ml lemon juice 35ml gin 1 tablespoon egg white Ice Shake shake shake! Top up with a nice craft lager
Guys! It would be very very nice to see your version of the portuguese "frango com natas". I ate it once in portuguese dinner (here in Portugal) and found that amazing that I decided to try by myself at home. I made with ordinary beer... I had made a entire chicken and I ate it all until night. If you want the recipe (what is very very simple) just let me know. :D :D
Well done, lads, but you forgot to mention what's that syrup. I mean, you've said it in the video, but I didn't catch it. Can you write it, please, my reading skill is better, than listening.:) Thanks in advance.
So I watched with after you prompted me to in reply to my other comment. I had actually watched this first time time round. So how is the lager just not the mixer? Yeah the reduction is a good idea. I'm not really into cocktails as I'm prone to quaffing them and getting pissed and emptying my wallet at the same time. For a true beer cocktail shouldn't be involve more than 1 beer? How about a blend of the lager, a saision and a ginger beer? I'm not being a troll and I understand this channel is aimed at people slightly less beer obsessed than me. I'm just challenging you to think more about the beer element of your videos as it often seems like an afterthought.
This does have two beautiful beers in it, Jaipur (the reduction) and Liberta lager! But I'd say a mix of two beers isn't a cocktail but a blend - which we'll also be doing in due course. Cheers for the comment - I can also assure you the beer is never an afterthought!
So excited to find this, even if I am 8 years late 😅 trying it soon!
Keep up the good work. Really enjoying your videos!

Beer syrup is simple syrup, with the water substituted for a pale ale--in this case, an English IPA.
Where is the Bar your at? :) looks comfy!
