Comparing Ghost World to a Kubrick film is insane. The real difference between a Clowes film and any other movie is that chances are the other movie will have at least one likable character.
Ghost World is a great film. I don’t see them as unlikeable. I see them as complex and flawed, like all humans, in a way that movies rarely let people be seen.
Fascinating interview! "Ghost World" is one of my all time fave films. THANX for uploading!!
This is a really interesting interview, thanks for uploading it

Did Enid commit suicide?
No.
She did. The film is romantic and the acting is awesome. Steve and Scarlet’s performance stood out for sure.
No, she doesn't. She escapes in a great ghostish way.
The ambiguity of the ending is the beauty of it. I didn’t see it as a death. I saw it as an escape into another realm.
Well said and well put!

Not a Kubrick movie. I think the comparison is pretty apt.
