The goliath pearl you just opened also head a large amount of pearls usually in the thick fatty pieces that you didn't cut open. Stress these pearls somehow different from all the other oysters like them.

The other pearl people get their biggest pearls from the pouch looking part in the middle. Why don't you ever check that part? You are missing out on some good pearls.
When you opened the blue one you could see the blue stain on the muscle from the dye when they artificially dyed the pearls early on in there life cycle.
FYI people...PEARLS DO NOT NATURALLY TURN PINK PURPLE BLUE GREEN YELLOW OR ORANGE. 99% will be white, cream, light pink, or light antique white.

I can't help but laugh at your comment, you try to act like your knowledgeable in the colors of pearls, when you know absolutely nothing. Natural Akoya pearls come in varying shades of Blue, Aquamarine, Rose and Violet. Akoya pearls from the Sea of Cortez and Tahitian waters come in Blue-Green, Green, Cerulean, Teal and Violet. There are also naturally occurring Chocolate pearls from the waters around Tahiti. Naturally occurring Black pearls come from the waters around French Polynesia, the Sea of Cortez and Guyamas, Mexico.
There are also naturally occurring Pink, Gold, Silver and multi-colored pearls.
Please educate yourself before you make your laughable comments.

Open the sac of the clam! You just lost a great many more pearls than you found! Those small ones were too young to open. Throw them back so they can grow and reproduce.

There's a special oyster that comes in a can that has a pearl inside that you can put inside of a charm and it usually sells in catalog's for $14.99 plus shipping and tax but I found it in a gift shop in Atlantic City New Jersey for $9.99. P.S.: I found the gold in the gold dig it kit this summer. I bought the last gold one at target. It's like it was waiting for me to buy it. Great opening of the oysters by the way. Beautiful colors too.

I've watched other folks open oysters, they also check the thick meat in them, they find really large pearls in that part too! I really enjoy seeing you open them!
