Our Number 1 rule is not to buy anything on Amazon, unless the item is absolutely needed and nothing remotely similar can be purchased locally. The reason for the rule is: a) we want to keep local businesses alive; b) we want to NOT make it easy for ourselves to spend money, and possibly overspend.
Just adore you and your family. I feel like we are old friends after watching you for years. Thank you for your videos and the considerable enjoyment and motivation you have given me and others.
Love these relaxed videos that explain minimalism 101 simply and clearly with your own examples. Love that you grow peppers and tomatoes, the seedlings are looking good.
I can attest to your statement that as you declutter you realize that you want less. Also, if I think there is something I want, I put it on my Amazon wish list, I may revisit the list a few time, but ultimately don’t buy it. The 30/30 rule for me includes any thing from a few $ to as long as weeks before I delete it….. budget friendly for sure.
oh! I didn't know that! Going to watch her right now! I subscribe to her but UA-cam hasn't notified me of new videos for her. Going to be sure the bell notification is on for her now for me!
Short and informative. Could you do an Easter video? Do you dress the kids? Do you go to church more? Do you do an egg hunt and if so what do you put in your eggs? Do you cook Easter supper or go somewhere else? Do you decorate for Easter?
Hi! I don't know if I will be able to make that video so I will answer you in this text for now. I do not buy special clothes for Easter, but they do have "church" clothes. We do an egg hunt at church and at my mom's each year. We put in quarters and small candies. Yes, we cook Easter dinner at home and we do not go out for it. I used to decorate for Easter... but I donated most of what I have. Now, I buy crafts for the kids to do around Easter that we can use to decorate the house for a few weeks. Does that make sense?
@@EricaLucasLoves thanks, I do "use you" ALOT for planning activities and presents for my nine grand children. I think I will look on hobby lobby's website for some Easter crafts. Thanks so much for what you do. You are a treasure.
Reverse decluttering is the best idea ever!
I just love how you explain things with the most direct, honest and humble tone. Happy to be here on our journey!
I feel like I sometimes make videos that I needed four years ago. Give it to me straight! lol
After all these years you continue with your minimalism. Congratulations. Thank you for your videos.

Again, fantastic editing! Side sweep of your hair is also GREAT! So, you made that little house logo on Canva...but how? Drawing tool?
Thanks! It's a house in Canva, then I pulled it in with the text.
