Bro, this is so awesome you are reviewing Malaysian dishes. My wife is from Malaysia and their country's food is so underrated. The curry brand(BABAS) I recommended to you awhile back is from Malaysia. You can do your own Roti Canai at home by making the curry and getting the frozen Asian pancakes they sell in any Asian Grocery stores. It is super solid. Anyway, props to the Sambal Chef Malaysian Restaurant owner for providing you the opportunity to sample dishes to your choosing. Would have like for you to try one of the country's traditional dish, Nasi Lemak as it is delicious! Anyway, definitely will visit this spot if I ever venture to Pearland, TX in the future. I hope this video finds a lot of customers for this restaurant. It looks so good! Last, another solid video as always and appreciate you taking the time to review the variety of foods on your channel for this foody community.

OMG everything looks so good. I went to Singapore cafe in Sugarland after watching your review and it’s now one of our fav places to go n eat. My fav was salty calamari, beef sticks. The roti was ok, it’s so hard to find a place in houston that makes their own roti. I know all the places here use the frozen ones. I’m still searching for a place who makes roti from scratch. I have to say I really went for the chilli crabs but sauce was just too sweet for us and we never ordered it again. We will definitely go n try their new place if ever we head out to PEARLAND. Also I would have loved to see what the bill would have been if you had to pay for the whole meal. Being from NY everything costs more so would have loved to have known. Love your videos!

I took the family back last Wednesday for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner and it was $211 ( $171+$40tip) for 4 adults and 2 kids. It depends what you like really..we usually go to Chinatown that's on 59 south and exit Bellaire ..for fine dinning $
59 south and Kirby area or memorial city mall..that's where you can find bori, taste of Texas, Koreantown , etc.
I am Malaysian Chinese so this was all I ever ate growing up.

Blue crabs? That right there disqualifies the dish as Singaporean chili crab. Singaporeans use Sri Lankan mud crabs for that. They can be huge.
