I cry when I listen to this, like i'm remembering my past life. I am walking up a mountain, as I feel presence ..through the warm dirt under my feet, the heat and heart of the sun on my face..I am with my two dogs going to collect herbs and wood for fire my mother told me to collect..I pick up a few rocks along the way for my collection...this is all beauty but I also feel suffering for the disconnection to the land in my present form. Nature calls my name, asking why is it we have no longer such a strong as a connection as in the past. Mi tierra linda I hope to return to you and learn your lessons of perseverance and cycles re-birth, we will always belong to you

THIS HUGE REGION INCLUDED TOLTECATL, MAYA, TOTANACAPAN, ACTUAL MONTEALBÁN IN OAXACA AND MORE PEOPLE WHO FOLLOWED THE SAME WAY OF LIVING, OF BELIEVING AND WHO WERE VERY CONNECTED WITH THE NATURE AND WITH THE HOLE UNIVERSE,.

I am so happy to see a comment from someone of the Taino Arahuaco tribal people of Kiskeia and Kubanakan. I have often wondered what the Indigenous Native American name is for what was known as Hispaniola. It is my understanding that Christopher Columbus named the island Hispaniola (Little Spain) in honor of the Queen of Spain. It is also my understanding that as a result of the Taino people refusing to be made slaves for sale in Columbus’s Slave Trade venture he performed his own Genocide of the Taino people of Kubanakan. I recently saw where a woman was found to have the D.N.A. of the Taino people of Kubanakan AKA. Hispaniola or what is now the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Your people were the first to suffer the wrath of the European invasion of the Americas. Thank you for providing me with the true Indigenous name of the island we’ve come to know as Hispaniola. As a Xicano man whose Indigenous Native American Homeland of what is today called Mexico was invaded and fell to the Spanish Conquistadors and the smallpox pandemic of which we as non-Europeans had no immunity to, I too feel the loss you must feel when you commune with your ancestors on a Spiritual plane. After Kubanakan was invaded the first place the Spanish landed on the mainland of North America was what is today Vera Cruz, Mexico. From there the smallpox virus spread eventually killing more Indigenous Americans than the Spanish Conquistadors. History will record the invasion and post occupation of our Indigenous Native American Homeland as one of the most inhumane undertakings of one Race of peoples against another with repercussions that impacted the lives of Indigenous Americans for centuries to come. There was no racism in the Americas before the Alien Europeans invaded the Americas. The Alien Euro-Americans are the ones who introduced racism, Genocide and slavery to the Americas. It is the Nature of the Beast we know as the Alien Euro-American who is responsible for the White Supremacy movement in America. It was the Alien Euro-American who intentionally gave blankets infected with the smallpox virus to Indigenous Native American children in their effort to exterminate the Indigenous Native American. It is the Alien Euro-American who today has separated Indigenous Native American children from the parents of those seeking asylum, residency , legal status or American citizenship. Imprisoning children as a deterrent to immigration or asylum of Indigenous Americans is their Christian solution to a humanitarian crisis. President Biden has continued Donald Trump’s policy of imprisoning children, keeping Title 42 in place and forcing those seeking asylum or legal status to stay in Mexico while filing for legal status. Remember Ellis Island? That’s where at it’s height ten thousand European Aliens were processed every day and made American citizens the moment their feet touched American soil. The first being an unaccompanied minor named Annie Moore. When it comes to European Aliens being processed and made American citizens the Ellis Island processing center is established. When it comes to processing Indigenous Native American people immigrating or seeking asylum or residency or legal status or American citizenship they are told “Don’t come” and if you do you’ll need to stay in Mexico until we get around to processing your application. There was and is reason to believe the vision of the Ghost Dance will some day come to fruition.

When I hear the music this man is creating with the instruments of our ancestors, it connects me to them in a way I never imagined possible. There is something about the sounds created by these instruments that I identify with. I can feel the Spiritual presence of our Indigenous Native American ancestors. I can imagine a time before the European invasion and post occupation of our Indigenous Native American Homeland. I can feel the Spiritual connection with Mother Earth and Father Sky. I no longer feel alienated in my Indigenous Homeland. I no longer feel the object of Alien Euro-American racism and ignorance. I feel a common bound with those people who came before me. As a musician I feel through the music the past reaching out to me telling me to remember my roots and know that my ancestors are here with me always. Thank you Xavier Quijas Yxayotl for providing me the opportunity to connect with my ancestral roots. You are a messenger from the Creator of all that exist in the heavens and the earth.

55% Spaniard - 40% Native American from various tribes. The closest, is my Yaqui side. My Great Grandfather spoke Yaqui and his mother had a pure Yaqui surname, as our people fought off Spanish influence.
I love both my peoples. Spain and Native America (North and South)

Wow..simply amazing seems like the ancestors of the americas had a way better understanding of connection to the universe, with frequencies, and wisdom to connect us with nature and inner self. Whether u Have mexica, inca, mayan, navajo, yamasee, choctaw, apache, mapuche, etc etc your ancestors knew the ways and surivived without taxes, capitalism, socialism etc and knew the ways of life for thousands and thousands of years....

Are those the Aztec drums? A new genre in Mexico should use the aztec drums and with a blend of traditional mexican instruments.
